Stayed for two nights while in Banff. Welcoming hotel with very friendly efficient polite staff. We could not fault our stay here. We used room service facility for breakfast, the laundry service and the hotel lobby /bar area for a meal one night and all experiences were first class service. The hotel was very clean and situated across from the hot springs and next door to the gondolas. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Like this location, this room 353, had the heating off the fan on high, could not cool this room below 23 or 24 deg C lucky it was only 15 deg C out side. I will give it another shot beings as it was very good when we got married there.

Located in the heart of Banff National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the world famous Fairmont Banff Springs resort stands as a landmark in the picturesque alpine town of Banff. This year round luxury resort is styled after a Scottish baronial castle and offers guests spectacular mountain and valley views, a championship golf course during the summer, unparalleled skiing in the winter, and an award-winning European-style spa, the Willow Steam Spa.
We did the Wilderness Walk with Andrew, and he was absolutely fantastic. He was very knowledgeable, patient with our questions, and great with the kids. We were hesitant to do a hotel activity when there are so many other great things to do here, but this rates among the highest of the trip because of him.

We did a timeshare-exchange into this venue for a week. Our 2-bedroom unit was upstairs and away from resort/road noise, so quiet. We agree with other recent reviews about the resort's condition showing its age and feel sorry for its owners. We used the 3rd floor tub/shower as the 2nd flr shower's grout was nasty, some furniture pieces could use replacing, the laundromat appliances need a good scrubbing and the parking area cries for repaving. That being said, the resort's proximity to the towns of Banff & Canmore, along with all the must-see sights in Banff Park, would incent us to stay here again. Considering the issues (and the complaints it must generate) the staff were amazingly pleasant, engaging and helpful. Although we detest the now-typical extra "resort fee", this place would benefit from adding a slight amount per stay, to help with touch-ups. It has potential to be so much better.

Our 96 unit resort in Banff National Park offers a wide variety of accommodations from luxurious Suites, to Condos and Cabins with kitchens and wood burning fireplaces.
I stayed here for 18 nights and was really pleased with everything about the accommodation. The location is a 5 minute bus ride or 20 min walk into the centre of Banff. You are given a free bus pass to use on the roam bus service which takes you into the centre of Banff . I stayed in a one bedroom ground floor studio apartment . Open plan bedroom / kitchen / dining lounge area . Exceptionally clean with great little kitchen for those wanting to cook their own meals. Unusual to have a full sized fridge/ freezer and cooker oven but great when cooking for 4 . Enjoyed the real fire and free wood was a bonus . Laundry room and gym a plus . Pool looked good but didn’t use as was skiing everyday , The staff were so helpful and nothing was ever too much bother . I asked for extra hangers , baking tray , corkscrew and everything was delivered to my door within minutes . A special shout out to Harri (apologies for spelling ? ) who was on reception . Always smiling , professional and extremely helpful with everything from recommendations to making sure I had everything I needed . A real asset to the company . You could have the room made up , cleaned , fresh linen , towels whenever you requested which was great . Had an issue with noise from other rooms in the evening but this was dealt with very quickly and the issue resolved . Lovely balcony looking over the mountains and perfect spot for seeing wild deer .

The Crossing Resort is family owned resort and located midway on the Icefields Parkway within 30 minutes of most major Attractions. Full services on site such as 3 dining venues a Pub, Gas Station, General store and Gift,Guest Center and Fitness Center.
Was quite apprehensive about staying here after the 3-4 one star reviews in a row I saw below me but I can’t really fault the place to the same degree if I’m honest. It’s absolutely fine for a stopover. I got a clean room, a warm shower and a nice patio area to drink a beer and soak in the exceptional views. The food was less than average. Got a couple of soggy fish tacos which I’d rather forget about. Is it worth the €211 I paid for a night? Well no, but your options are limited in the part of the Icefields Parkway so beggars can’t be choosers. All in all, I’d stay here again but in hindsight, I’d arrive with a full belly.
