We heard the coffee was good so drove for half an hour to see for ourselves, - but were a little disappointed. One person trying to cope with several customers plus make the coffee was probably expecting too much. Food was very average too and we departed a little disappointed.May not return unless we happened to be going by.

my son and I stopped in New years eve night at 7.30, the place wasn't busy at all, we were seating instantly, we ordered several appetizers all which was extremely good, Chicken wonton tacos, cheeseburger egg rolls and onion rings, These were to die for, for the main dishes we order the bourbon shrimp and chicken dinner which was suppose to have been spicy, ad the 4 cheese chicken mac and cheese, well these 2 meals were disgusting, there was NO flavor at all to the chicken, no seasoning, nothing much less any spice or heat, the mac and cheese was so dry that it was uneatable and for a $12 plate you would think you would have been able to eat something on it, both dinner meals were terrible, we have decided next time we'll stick with just the appetizers if we go back, Service wasn't that great, he kept my son's soda filled but never once asked if we needed anything else, or took any plates away, when he did bring the check he asked if everything was alright as our food was untouched, we told him how bad it was, he never offered to adjust it or send over a manager nothing.

Excited to have BarrelHouse in Visalia! We take all our visiting friends and family. Great atmosphere, nice location, and lots of delicious beers to try out! You will not be disappointed. No food on the inside (except for pretzels and mustard), but food vendors are often outside or there are many restaurants close by to grab a bite to eat or bring in your food while you drink!

My partner and I often call into Rookies when we just feel like having some chill time over a beer or two. Their appetisers are yummy and the burgers are good too. I did try a hot dog here once and that's probably the only bad thing I'd say about Rookies. Don't order the hot dog!! Staff are always friendly and the big guy behind the bar (Tom) is great. He makes you feel like a regular even if you haven't been in for a while. For those wanting to watch sport - this is the place for you. For those who aren't really sports lovers; don't worry - just ignore the televisions!

Nice hotel lounge. Normal to pretty good bar service. Some of the Bartender/Servers have been there a long time and maybe are not completely into it anymore. Ordered a sampler appetizer plate expecting a bunch of fried frozen items, but was surprised by fresh made appetizers. Very convenient while staying at the Wyndham.

Not only reviews that were generally positive, there is also a pronounced interest in craft brewing beer. Positive and energetic waitress guided us through the large menu.No great gastronomic exercises, but stable dishes that have a large audience. The beer varieties were completely satisfying. The interior is not the big audience magnet.

Not unlike the first one, here there was no room to try the menu. However, still room for more craftmanship produced beer, our choice was unfortunately one of the year's most mediocre. Bartender still serviceminded even though we stepped in close to closing.
