Owned by a Canadian ex-pat, we came here to get poutine, and we weren't disappointed at all, quite the opposite. I actually had Chifrijo, which was really good 'cept chicken was a little bit dry, and the poutine with bacon was really delicious! The fries were crispy, done just right, the gravy good, could have benefited from a bit more cheese though. Service was excellent, very friendly, and we had a nice chat with the owner from Windsor, helped by his daughters and a congenial waiter. It is located somewhat oddly, on the second story of a modern commercial building close to our condo at Casa del Sol, with one of those curious little Italian ex-pat developments behind, and the road, then the beach beyond. So, we had a nice view of the sunset, thru the power lines but still nice, as we ate. I would return here to try more of the local food especially.

The staff are friendly, the ceviche is delicious and the full bar can't be beat. As the place falls apart - the view of the ocean is incredible. Our kids (two girls) found stuff on the menu they liked, we had the ceviche, the guac and chips and a few drinks. Bring cash - no cc accepted - prices are reasonable and the view can't be beat!

Very disappointed in the service we received during our stop for lunch. We purposely came for lunch because of a prior visit that was amazing. We ordered a couple of pilsen and fish and chips (thinking it would be quick) and after an hour of no service found they hadn't even ordered our lunch. Very disappointing.Silly us...we stayed and waited an 1/2 hour for terrible fish and chips...so greasy. I can say we will not be back.

During our stay in Brasilito, we went to Tiki's two or three times because it was walking distance from our hotel, has a beach view, but mostly because there is a nice playground there for the kids. The food is good / average. Drinks are fine. Unfortunately, the main (and busy!) highway is between the restaurant and the beach, so the beach view is not the greatest.

We popped across to the sailing club from the hotel next door (Bahia del Sol). It was a Tuesday night which was 2 4 1 pizza night- on all medium pizzas. âMediumâ was a sizeable pizza too!It was a busy night since it was Kids RootBeer Pong night- lots of families, quite loud & quite a wait for food- but other nights have seemed relatively calmer. We have been back since for drinks and seen other food being taken to tables- portions looked big & quality looked good.Perfectly located for watching the amazing sunset at Potrero Beach, also has a pool for patrons use and a few kids activities too. Great food at reasonable prices.

We brought our love of fresh food and good beer to Costa Rica. Smoked meat, fresh sauces and dressings, quality locally sourced ingredients and unique flavor combinations. We serve locally brewed beer and our exclusive cocktails as well all your favorites
We came to dinner at Scooters. If you are staying in playa flamingo, you should definitely check it out. It is a great location in downtown flamingo so it is easy to walk to, and has a wonderful ambiance with a pool, bar and TVs. (Not far from Margaritaville)Itâs perfect for families or couples. The menu had tacos, burgers, bbq, wings, salads, and sandwiches. We ordered the BLT with avocado, salad and fries. All our food was delicious! They also have great beer on tap -some IPAs and service was excellent. Iâd highly recommend! Thank you so much for this great review. Just getting started down there, we appreciate all the feedback we can get!

Cerveceria Independiente brews an eclectic collection of beer styles using both traditional ingredients and local tropical ingredients. Beer is sold fresh to go directly from the brewery, as well as in other local establishments.
We stopped here for a late lunch due to a recommendation from a local. The brewery was undergoing some renovations and was low on beer, but we were in luck and had the opportunity to drink their stout and IPA. The stout was excellent. We are not a big fan of IPAs and found this one to be an exception. Not as hoppy and very refreshing. We then went out to the food court and had sliders at Gracias, which were excellent. The brisket fries at the Nicaraguan food truck were also fantastic. All of the vendors were incredibly friendly. The prices were comparable to US prices for food but the food was very good. Plenty of parking was available.
