Do not expect miracles from Chili's ...in fact expect the average. Good service, however; one of the servers lacked personality. The Presidente' Margarita was served quickly and with a strong kick!! Entrees were served twenty three minutes upon informing the server to enter order. Both entrees served hot for a change!!! Surprisingly, Salmon and Ribs had no issues. Only issue is that being charged for a desert that was included.
The restaurant is next to the University of La verne, and provides Korean BBQ and Chicken. Asian dishes are popular, such as korean, japans and Chinese. The price is affordable and all the dishes taste very good.
We loved this place. We found it on an Internet search on our return from a hot springs hike and the food was fresh, delicious and organic, and the meal was less than $30 for two people. The bimbimbop was excellent, as were the barbeque beef ribs and the salad with a spectacular homemade dressing. They also make homemade desserts and they gave us one complimentary. It had kalua and it was creamy and drop dead delicious. We will be back!

Went here for a business lunch with two other professionals. They have a very extensive menu and it was hard to decide what to order. Iâm a sucker for ahi poke so decided on the ahi poke tower only to be told they didnât have poke quality ahi available. Okay, so I settle for ahi tacos as did one of my table mates. The third person in our group ordered a club sandwich. We also ordered fries to share. Our food was delivered relatively quickly; however, they delivered three orders of tacos. Table mate was a good sport about it and didnât bother to correct them. Tacos were just okay and could have used more seasoning. Fries were completely underwhelming. The check arrived and the person who was treating us put out his credit card. They brought back the receipt which he tipped on and signed. We were sitting there chatting when the server cane back and said heâd charged the wrong amount and could he please see the card so he could charge again. Awkward! Especially in a business setting.

We had driven by several times always pointing out we would stop by and check it out. We decided to stop by on a Friday night during Happy Hour and we were impressed. Being walking distance from the University, there were college kids there, however, there was older guests (people in their 30s and up) enjoying the sports bar ambiance. We ordered the bone in wings and the Irish Nachos. Both the wings and the Irish Nachos were delicious. We also ordered beer and wine and the selection was pretty good for the beer and the wine list had a decent selection of whites and reds. The highlight was this fish bowl you can order full of beer. It looked fun and would be perfect for a group of three or more. I don't drink beer so for my husband to order a fish bowl of beer would be a bit much. As a group, it would be perfect. Since we are wing people, we will definitely be back since there are a variety of flavors and heat levels of wings. There are plenty of TV's and they are all tuned to different channels so its not the same all throughout the restaurant. The only drawback is parking. You can get lucky and get parking right in front of the restaurant or you can park in one of the public parking lots near the downtown area. After loading up on beer and chicken wings, a short walk may not be that bad!

Love the food, beers, and the patio. A wonderful little sidewalk eatery where you can relax with friends and family and your dog. The duck fries are wonderful!

Pappas Artisanal is simply amazing! The food is creative and delicious. I've eaten there a half dozen times or so in the last year or so and have only had great food. Last Friday, another couple, my husband, and I went there. Each of us had a different entree and all were delicious. I tried the Friday special -- fried chicken. I'm the daughter of a southern mother whose fried chicken is superb. This almost beat Mom's! The order was a fried breast (boneless with a small bone on one side) and boneless thigh -- JUICY, crisp and flavorful batter, and a wonderful glaze added as a garnish. It was on a bed of mushroom/grain (maybe quinoa?) deliciousness. My hubby had the Cubano sandwich; I had sharing rights and it was good. My friend had her favorite -- the loaded potato salad (crispy potato chunks, cheese, crumbled bacon, etc. on a bed of greens) and her husband had the pork/beef chili in a bread bowl. The only unevenness is the service which is what moved it to a "4". This is true more than half of the times we have eaten at Pappas. For example -- this Friday, we arrived at 5:50 pm to meet friends at 6 pm. The restaurant was far from full; we were told we couldn't be seated until the other 2 arrived. OK, they are entitled to this policy and I don't fault them on this. So, we stood at the doorway and waited. When our friends arrived at 6, we were still required to wait an additional 10 minutes. The restaurant was still 1/2 full. And, we weren't seated in a new section (i.e., they weren't waiting for a new staff member to arrive). We've been present other times when the wait staff go AWOL; we ended up with cold food one time because we hadn't been given utensils and couldn't track down any server. We finally went to the counter to ask for it and were told if they would bring it to us; this was followed by more waiting. So, WHEN Pappas gets their serving as consistent as their food quality, it will be a 5. Until then, come for GREAT food and uneven service. It is still worth it!

Real nice place. Lots of lesser known beer choices but they are pricey. Food is also pricey. $12-$15 for a burger. Hard to have a conversation. Sports on TVs and live music Saturday night. Bartender way overworked. Burger was overcooked.
