We came here on our way back from Manchester to Keene. I've always known about this place and have heard good things. We came on a quiet Sunday night just before Christmas around 9pm. Place was really quiet, but staff were very attentive. We ordered bowls of the special Scallop and Bacon Chowder and a beer. We were stuffed after eating the bowl as it was a very large size. I wanted to order more food but just didn't have the space to eat it. Waitress was very bubbly and outgoing polite to all of her tables. Very sweet. We will be back with empty stomachs next time to try other dishes.
Great American comfort food and pizza, casual atmosphere and a staff that won't let you leave hungry. We offer the best pizza & wings around, amazing subs, and a full bar. We are open late and deliver our full menu.
If your going in for a drink at the bar then it's decent place. I have given them plenty of chances with food but will not anymore. Pizza is never cooked so the dough is soggy in the middle. The subs are ok but still not "good". Salads are a joke. If able don't waste your time.Hey Lori, I'm not sure if you were aware or not, but the ownership of Crossroads changed after you wrote your review. We would love to see if we can win you back - salads still aren't our forte, but we're working on it! We've adjusted cook temps to help with the middle of the pizza issue and upgraded our sub rolls to a daily baked offering.

Cooper's Hill Public House is an Irish-inspired pub in downtown Peterborough with the largest selection of whiskeys in the state of NH.
The Peterborough Players Tuesday matinee ended at 415pm, the restaurant opened at 4pm, and we were able to eat outdoors on a beautiful day. My gluten free wife had shepard's pie and I had a salmon dinner with lots of vegetables; both entrees were excellent. A couple of nits: the salads had some wilted leaves, and when we asked for more ranch dressing, we were charged 75 cents.

The Restaurant at the Fitzwilliam Inn is open for functions and parties only at this time. Please contact us to talk about having your meeting or function here!
The white-columned inn has stood over the Fitzwilliam Common since 1793. When first opened, it was known as the Goldsmith Tavern and was renamed the Cheshire Hotel by 1843. Known as the Fitzwilliam Inn since 1973, it has been serving room and board to its guests for over 200 years. The Inn still has 10 guest rooms.I dined at the Inn for lunch with a large group. We basically filled the two largest dining rooms and were very pleased with both the atmosphere and the cuisine. We found our innkeepers very friendly and accommodating, and the service with a smile from the staff was most welcome.I dined on a small salad with tasty vinaigrette; cheesy bread and butter was replenished several times; I enjoyed baked salmon napped with dill cream sauce; and berry cobbler with whipped cream for dessert. I thought the food very well prepared and the sides were imaginative and arrived at the table hot. Kudos to the chef!Fitzwilliam is small, and has other attractions on offer...Bloomin' Antiques and another small gift shop are directly across the street, and if you can catch the Historical Society's museum open, you'll enjoy that as much as I did. Come by for a drink, some victuals, and a walk into the past. Enjoy. From all of us here at the Inn, thank YOU for your business! It was a pleasure to serve you and we hope to see you again soon!

Ate at this restaurant when it was under a previous name and management. Not pleased or impressed at all. My wife and I decided to try Emma's just recently and we're both totally happy with the service; and the food was terrific. Plan to visit again for dinner.

Not fancy but it is a pub that serves sandwiches, wings, and great pizza. It is also a pool hall or one can play darts. There is a long bar or you can order and pay for food and they will bring it to your table. Happy hour $2 draft beers and specials each day. A good place for local guys to hang out.
