We stopped in for dinner on a Friday night. We had a reservation and we were promptly seated. Our server was attentive, patiently answered our questions and clearly explained the evenings specials. Unfortunately, it was so loud that we could barely hear her, or each other. The cocktails were excellent. The Corn and Crab Chowder Soup was NOT good. Way to thick, almost paste. The Strawberry Goat Cheese Salad was excellent! The Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes had no jumbo lump crab meat in them, but they had very little filler, so they were adequate. The Wood Fired Paella was a better than average, but the clams were overcooked. The scallops were perfect and the remainder of the seafood was OK. The strawberry shortcake was very good.Based on the Corn and Crab Chowder Soup being closer to paste than soup, the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes not actually jumbo lump crab and the clams in the Wood Fired Paella being overcooked and the place so loud as to make it impossible to carry on a conversation, I would have give it 2 stars. Based on the service, salads, cocktails and desserts, I would give 5 stars, so I gave an overall rating to 4 stars.

You go to a sports bar you would expect they would have the local teams in the screen..nope that this night. We had to ask the management to put on the hockey game (keep in mind there were three local teams playing this night). Service was horrible, waitress was more interested in chatting with two guys sitting at a table then given us the time of the day. Food was horrible, service was a disgrace and once the hockey was put on the screen you could barely see the players let alone the puck. Buy some new projectors will you please.

Got the family together for one more dinner. Always busy and noisy. Service is always good, no matter how busy. Not great for conversation, too loud. Great food and good beverage selections . Good Italian food and a great seafood salad. Portions are large and always left overs. Prices are reasonable . Good local hangout.

Josie Kelly's Public House. Somers Point....5 star! It's not freezing....service is great... The place is beautiful....the food was outstanding! Perfect!! We started out with a cup of soup. ...fantastic. I ordered the beef and guiness pie...my husband ordered the fish pie. The side of arugula had the most delicious dressing. The bread made in house and served with kerrygold butter. This place is how a restaurant should be run. You can see they strive for perfection and in my opinion...they achieved it!

Gregory's is one of a very few places in SP that does not make you wait on a busy night, plus it is possible to find a parking spot nearby. Food is good (for a "cheap eat" place) and reasonably priced. However, the service is a bit chaotic.

We stop by with Mom for a late lunch / early dinner ... Atmosphere ?? They killed it ... Service ... these young ladies are the Bomb ... and the Food ?? If you don't eat here ... forget about it ... it's crazy good !! Highly recommend this place ... Restaurant has been busy for years - good location, food & service. Reservations have never been accepted and waiting has been expected. However, this year it has been nearly impossible to get in during "prime time". We managed to get it on the 3rd try, because did not want to wait for over 1 hr. Yes, food is still good, but we are not sure if it is worth the effort.
