Reviews on Pub food in Dublin, California, United States. Dublin (formerly, Amador and Dougherty's Station) is a suburban city of the East (San Francisco) Bay and Tri-Valley regions of Alameda County, California, United States. Located along the north side of Interstate 580 at the intersection with Interstate 680, roughly 35 miles (56 km) east of downtown San Francisco, 23 miles (37 km) east of downtown Oakland, and 31 miles (50 km) north of downtown San Jose, it was referred to as "Dublin" in reference to the city of Dublin in Ireland because of the large number of Irish who lived there. I like Chili's food -- well done menu, tasty food. But, in general, staff training is poor. Certainly this was true for the Pleasanton location. Our waiter was friendly and attentive -- top marks in this area. But, when we were seated, they had to clear a table for us. Literally all the tables around us required clearing. It looked as though there had been a food fight in the area where we were seated -- napkins and food on the floor, tables askew -- a real mess. Of course this was a serious put-off for us, we went ahead and ordered. Eventually the messy tables were cleared, but no one made much of an effort. Then two members of staff dragged chairs across the tile floor to do some re-arranging. The noise was awful -- one of those chilling, screetching sounds. One wonders how anyone could do this in the presence of clients. One of my daughters wanted to leave because of the horrible sound.I hope someone from Chilis reads this. Good food alone is not enough to bring me back. Better training is a must.

Decided to try the place for my birthday dinner yesterday after reading the reviews. Most solo travelers stayed at the bar, there were only two tables occupied. We tried the recommended pasta and ribs and they were both good. My son had the Western chicken which he also liked. The menu has a pretty good selection though not that extensive. It is a very quiet place, which we liked for a change. A good place to hang out with friends if you want to avoid the usual noisy restaurants. Food is reasonableypriced as well. Soda was $2 a can. We only saw 2 servers and they have managed to check on us every now and then even if the bar area was full. I heard they have a breakfast buffet which I might try one day. They do not serve lunch. Would definitely come back again, maybe with friends.

Lazy Dog had a 30 minute wait, so we walked next door...and were so happy we did!The place inside is so nice, industrial...wood, metal...I ordered the smaller size Shrimp Louie...wedge salad with scrumptious dressing...olives, sundried tomato, avocado, cucumbers, and large grilled shrimp.Delicious..I was sorry I didn't order the large...which was $4 more...at $19.99.My husband ordered the Caesar with chicken and it was delicious as well. He gave me a piece of his well seasoned chicken and a piece of Romaine with yummy slightly different Caesar dressing. The manager asked us a couple of times how things were...and our server was attentive. Couldn't have wanted anything else.I would go back there in a heartbeat...

We have visited several times, but tonight something seemed off. My husband didnât think his burger was as good, not as tasty...and the pastrami on my sandwich seemed packaged....There was very little sauerkraut as well. Loved the blood orange cider!

We ate here on a Saturday night. There weren't many people dining. We thought the menu selection was pretty good, the food good but nothing special. The service was very good, the wait person was attentive but not overly so. It's a nice restaurant. I'd try it again.

Coco Cabana offers a unique dining experience inspired by the majestic flavors of all Latin American countries. At Coco Cabana, you can expect delectable tapas and dishes with modern latin heat and flavor and exciting cocktails galore.
Coco Cabana has a nice atmosphere, the interior is fairly dark. There is a big bar and ample seating in the dining area. I have visited twice and both times the service has been outstanding. The food is average, but highly priced. We shared from the tapas menu, with chicken tacos, corn, dip, and sliders. Nothing to write home about, but not bad either.

The Hopyard has a great selection of rotating beers. On Tuesdays, they usually features a select brewery. Sports are always on the televisions. And the dart boards are usually open. The food is mixed. Some of the items, such as the burgers and fried chicken (special) are solid. Some of the salads are not.
