We enjoyed our dinners at this resturant. The servers were not as responsive as we felt they should have been on keeping our drinks filled and replacing the one item incorrectly served. We have not dined inside, only outside a couple of times. Would recommend this establishment to anyone on a COOL spring or fall evening. Nice atmosphere.

If you are looking for bad service, undercooked food and a noisy joint, this is it. Our food was undercooked (not the first time), our original waitress (eventually someone else took the initiative to give us some service) showed little or no interest in providing any sort of customer service. My beer bottle was empty and our original waitress would walk by with her head in the clouds. In a nutshell, this place has always had poor customer service since ownership changed sometime ago. ...Only redeeming quality this restaurant has is the that the beer was cold and it's in walking distance from various subdivisions and seems to be frequented by the local crowd.

6 of us went on wing night and enjoyed everything. Go early if you want to avoid the wait line. I understand they also have a burger night.

We really enjoyed the Food, all of us were very satisfied with the portions and wonderful taste. The decorations and atmosphere were awesome! We will tell all out friends!
We have been eating at Cortez Kitchen for 10-15 years. It's open air with a roof and right on the water. The menu is simple. The bar is popular. My favorite sign by the bar says "Time spent drinking beer is not subtracted from your lifetime." Perhaps. This is a very informal place and you see all types of people. That's a lot of the fun. Some nights there is music. All in all, there is something truly real about this place. We just like it. If fancy is your thing, go elsewhere. If you just want to eat and drink a bit and watch the world, this place is great.

My date had never had raw oysters....he loved them! Nate took great care of us at the bar. The clams were steamed perfectly and in an awesome garlic butter sauce...absolutely perfect. Iâm from the Chesapeake Bay Area and I know oysters...these were fresh and good quality! Shelley is awesome too, this place has excellent service and live music! What more can you ask for?
