Visiting just for day with a friend and wanted lunch away from main tourist street and cruise shippers. Just wanted something straightforward and El Bohi still very central just 50 yards or so up from entrance to market. The usual boccadillos (sandwiches) a range of tapas, meals of the day and some Cuban food. A cafe more than a restaurant, it was hot day and we ate out side on pavement. I had a Cuban dish rice and black beans, with a spicy meat stew (described as a loaf) and a cooked bannana and fried egg..it was really very good and generous portion. My friend had grilled sardines with french fries and a beer..he thought it was very good too.Very reasonably priced mine was 6.50 euro. If I was in town again and wanted lunch Id go back

Stopped for a beer whilst shopping and was very glad we chose the bar.We were greeted by a lovely lady who after serving us two very cold, very welcomed large beers sorted out the internet connection for us..Guess what.....we stayed for another.

We came to La Palma for a 7 day holiday in March. We are vegetarian (mostly vegan) and like to eat healthy. Veg art provided us with much needed supplies for our self catering accommodation, and some delicious, healthy meals when we decided to eat out. Really recommend this place.
