What a change! I took my 2- and 4-year-old to Kidsport 2 days before Christmas and was pleasantly surprised at the changes to the play space. At first I couldn't put my finger on the changes, but the floors seemed cleaner, the space seemed brighter and the play structure seemed different somehow compared to what it was a few months ago. The zipline at the front of the structure was still there, but that grimy pit of foam cubes and all those broken coin-operated rides were gone! The new owner had the walls repainted and had slowly started to recreate the play structure. Even the toddler play area (for those under 5) seemed decluttered from its former self. I spoke with the owner and while the basketball court is still there, he has some exciting plans for it in the new year - I can't wait to find out what that is! Previously, I was hesitant taking my kids back to Kidsport (think sticky laminate floors, questionable ballpits, etc.), but now that it's under new management, I will DEFINITELY be taking my kids back here again more often!
