My husband and I were staying at Oak 'n Spruce resort for a week, and one night decided to stay in and ordered a pizza. First of all, the crust is a pre made, already cooked disc. No fresh dough here! The cheese was so chewy, you had to bite to get thru it. We ate a small amount and threw the rest away.

Founded in 1961 by the Valerio family in East Boston, Papa Gino's has been serving the same thin-crust Italian-style pizza and supporting local New England communities for over half a century. With dough made fresh daily in Walpole MA from just five simpl
So-so at best. The two pizza restaurants in the area we prefer are Baba Louie's in Pittsfield and Great Barrington. They are full service restaurants and have good pizza, salads and dinners. They also offer full bar service. Make reservations especially at one in Pittsfield, it's very popular and draws a crowd. In Lee we like Vivaldi's which is a small take-out although there are a few tables, certainly not fancy. Papa Gino's does seem to have a following among locals, though. Matter of taste.

When here on a Saturday evening in late June. Was seated right away, the waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable with what the specials were and what was good. All dinners came with salad and homemade bread. The chicken and eggplant Parm were superb. Homemade and plentiful reasonably priced and highly recommended

We took our grandkids here for pizza (an easy sale, of course). One grandson chose the seafood pizza (shrimp, clams, garlic, and spinach). He did not care for it, but we did! Service was friendly and attentive. The space has only a handful of tables, as most business is takeout. There is no sign outside, other than a simple "Restaurant" hanging above the front door.

Authentic Italian cuisine in a great atmosphere.
We went looking for another restaurant but it was closed so we tried Timothyâs Italian. We were not disappointed. Their Calamari was very tender and delicious. Their sea food was topped with their special filling which I was Leary of ordering but very good. Chicken Marsala was cutlets and a little tough. Small place with high ceilings that made it noses. They have a bar that you can also eat at. Proportions were large so probably a doggie box to go to eat another night. Try it nice menu.
