We found this place when we were walking round trying to find somewhere to eat, as everywhere else appeared to be closed for holidays. We were pleasantly surprised as the quality was excellent with the pizzas being cooked in a wood fired oven. The price was very good although only soft drinks were available. Very pleasant staff with a friendly welcome.

Nice Italian restaurant. I had Gnocchi with four different kinds of cheese. Reasonable prices, good quality. You should make a reservation.

Wir wollten nichts kochen, also haben wir auf die Schnelle noch Pizza und Salat bestellt.Der Salat war echt super, die Pizzen im Grunde auch, aber bei einer Pizza Rucola mÃ¶chte ich die BlÃ¤tter nicht zÃ¤hlen kÃ¶nnen. Bestimmt esse ich da wieder, nur dann eine andere Pizza ;-)

We went to the restaurant on Sunday night. We were on our way to Austria from the UK and stopped overnight in Merklingen. The food was very good and the service attentive. We very much needed to chill with a few beers and were not rushed even though we were the only people left. I can certainly recommend this restaurant and hope to go back next time we drive to Austria.
