We had some excellent pizza from this restaurant which is within walking distance of the First Hotel Kopavogur (also recommended). There is large choice of pizzas and the website has English translations. There was no orobpem swapping a topping either. Bases are crispy and the topping are generous. A small range of alcoholic drinks is also available. Restaurant is open every day and does takeaway too.

On our first visit at lunchtime we ordered a lamb plate and a chicken plate. The plate came with meat, rice, salad, two dips and half a flat bread - it was so tasty and very filling (just what we needed to set us up for a busy afternoon sightseeing) The waitress was lovely, very polite and attentive and the food came quickly. Our second visit was in the evening and we had fish and chips - quite possibly the best fish and chips I've ever eaten! The waitress remembered us and despite it being near closing time we got great service and a smile. Great place for a meal at very reasonable prices.

Home style restaurant. Family business. A cozy place with a view over the presidents residence.
Great little place in Alftanes. Everything tastes wonderful, super fresh, delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful. Owner and wife are usually there, running the place. Every single thing we had there, including their pizza, coffee, bread and baked goods was simply outstanding. Great job, Alftanes Kaffi!

Stopped in here the first night in Iceland and they were able to immediately seat us for an early dinner. The food was excellent and served quickly and hot. We ordered a meat and cheese tray for an appetizer and pizza for dinner. Everything was yummy!

A group of 15 of us were visiting Iceland from NYC. We stayed in a fabulous airbnb above The Deli, and decided to order from them for our Friday night dinner. I emailed The Deli a few days in advance to prepare them for our large order - 4 cheese, 4 pepperoni, 1 large salad. They emailed me back immediately, and reassured me that this would be a perfect amount for our group ... and we would have leftovers! They also accommodated our group by making a large salad to feed all of us ... the salad was DELICIOUS! We truly appreciated the great service and delicious food from The Deli. We will be sure to stop by here on our next visit. THANK YOU!!!Thank you, appreciate it :)

We are an nontraditional pizza place that offers exciting options for you to try while in Iceland. Bearnaise bread-sticks, lobster pizza, or Nutella desert pizza? Why yes!
This pizza place is a bit of an odd one. They have lackluster pizza but one of their side dishes are enough to get me to go there. Bernaisebröllur is a really well seasoned beef calzone of sorts with a liberal use of bernaise sauce on top.

A wood burning oven is essential Authentic Margherita Pizza with mozarella, Icelandic of course and we are proud of it; fresh Basil, locally grown, dash of olive oil. We make our own homemade sauce, so our customers can be sure they are getting the best i
Went with the family after a nice concert to test this pizza place for the first time. Nice little local pizza place with various pizza options. Some might feel it little crammed as it does not have many seats for guests. They were quite busy when we arrived but we got seats fairly quick. I wish though the seating area was more cosy which would make this place more attractive. We got different pizza for everyone and they were all very good. The only major downsize in my opinion was the price, which I thought was too expensive. For their defence they offered lower price to those who had take-away which is a good concept.
