Reviews on Pizza food in Fleetwood, England, United Kingdom. Fleetwood is a town and civil parish within the Wyre district of Lancashire, England, lying at the northwest corner of the Fylde. It had a population of 25,939 people at the 2011 census. The site of the town has been continuously inhabited since the Middle Ages. Fleetwood acquired its modern character in the 1830s, when the principal landowner Peter Hesketh-Fleetwood, High Sheriff and MP, conceived an ambitious plan to re-develop the town to make it a busy seaport and railway spur. He commissioned the distinguished Victorian architect Decimus Burton to design a number of substantial civic buildings, including two lighthouses. Hesketh-Fleetwood's transport terminus schemes failed to materialise. The town expanded greatly in the first half of the 20th century with the growth of the UK fishing industry, and passenger ferries to the Isle of Man to become a deep-sea fishing port.

Just had the best evening since coming to blackpool with my partner Anna. The restaurant is very small so best booking. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Our waiter harry was fantastic very friendly and informative and explained the menu and the specials board recommending certain dishes to us and the owner Leo was very friendly/funny and chatted to all his customers. We got chatting to a local family on the next table and this made our evening even better. Can't recommend this restaurant highly enough to anyone who likes Italian cuisine. Large portions great tasting food and very competitively priced. Thanx so much for a lovely memorable night see you again soon.Gary and Anna (liverpool)

Having moved to the area this week, we thought we would call the following evening to save cooking. There weren't many in mid-week when we called, but we enjoyed our meals nevertheless. Being old-hands, if you like, and knowing this restaurant inside out as we have been giving them our business since 2006, we booked for Saturday night. The food has always been very tasty and of generous portions and a very wide choice as well as a good specials board and a good selection of wines too. It was busy last night and sometimes there is a wait to be served, but we don't mind: in fact we welcome it. Staff have always been accommodating and willing. You won't get anybody better than the owner's daughter who kept this restaurant running (along with the others) when Max was doing everything single-handed for a while: a real credit to this eaterie in more ways than one.

Got a menu whilst at Cala Gran holiday park and I must say this has got to be one of the best take-aways (just wished we lived closer!)The food was piping hot,quick delivery and tasted brilliant.Infact we ordered from them 2 nights in a row!.We will deffo order from Pizza Lavita again next time we visit.5*****

We have had several takeaways, over the last few months, from Piccolo's.The food is excellent, we have tried the Pizza, Pasta and chicken dishes. The garlic bread is excellent, just like you would get in an Italian Restaurant.The young lady who takes your order is polite. The food arrives at the time given, when your order is placed, if not sooner and is still piping hot.The last couple of times we have ordered Pizza and Garlic Bread, there was way too much salt added. Last night I could not eat all of my Pizza, too salty, which is a shame.We will try again, in a few more weeks :)
