Last year on our annual Cabo San Lucas visit, we tried Da Vinci's for dinner and were amazed on several levels. One, it appears to be just a pizza place but serves excellent dinners. Two, it is located at the very entrance to the Marina and is very easy to pass by. Their menu is extensive, entrees are delicious, service is exceptional and price is unbelievably modest. Well, consistency is the test of any good restaurant so we were eager to try again. We were not disappointed. We were promptly seated. The wine list yielded a very good Chardonnay for my wife and an excellent Montipulciano for me. We shared an appetizer, the Calamari Trifolati. Calamari sauteed with capers and hot peppers. It was delicious and easily large enough to share. The warm bread was irresistible with it. For entrees, my wife had the Linguini Puttanesca, with olives, capers and anchovies. I had the Linguini Calamari with capers and hot peppers. Entrees were served piping hot. Pasta was perfectly al dente. Flavors were outstanding. Our waiter, Tomas Perez, was attentive and friendly, always there when we wanted him but not obtrusive to our conversation. It was obvious he really wanted us to enjoy our experience. We ended by sharing a Copa Italiana, peach flambe served over vanilla ice cream. It's preparation and presentation was quite a show and it was very good. The cost for this outstanding feast was under $80 U.S., before propina. We have tried most of the highly touted Italian Restaurants in Cabo San Lucas over the years. They include the classic standards and the newer places. Da Vinci's is at the top of the list in our book.

We have been eating here for many years now, live nearby, and Fabrizio makes the best pizza anywhere. Favorites are the shrimp and perfumato. Perfect crust, wonderful flavors. Even great cold, the crust doesn't become tough after it cools as so many do.Mussels, in season now, in white wine are fantastic. So much more, so try it, I'm sure you'll love it as much as we do!

We eat here every year (20+ years) and this year was even better.Service is warm and lovely in this cozy downtown place.Shrimp diablo (off menu) and shrimp spaghetti, house salad, warm (hot) bread, minestrone soup were all delicious and generous.We had lunch the next day with leftovers.With a glass of just-ok wine was about $55. A good deal.As good Italian food as anywhere and a welcome alternative meal from local Mexican food.Donât miss it.Not kidding when I write reviews!

The craft beers here are amazing and they have a great variety. They also do a nice happy hour.But, beyond that, they have an excellent lunch menu with a little bit of everything. Pizza, burgers, Mexican food, seafood, soup, and salads.There are specials each day for lunch and when I was there it was 2 for 1 tacos. So, for less than 200 pesos, 2 of us had a plate of 3 fish tacos with great salsas.On the other hand, the one thing that disappointed me here was that they charge almost $5US for an iced tea and then charge you a second time for a refill without mentioning that fact.Any iced tea lover will tell you that's a no-no, especially when it costs almost nothing!$10 for iced tea is crazy.

With Il Forno you canât go wrong. The food is always very good, service matches, presentation matches and nice ambiance. Wood fired oven for great pizzas. Food is made to order and never disappoints. All of the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Real Italian recipes and chef owner. Good wine list and great bartender and she makes some delicious cocktails as well. This has it all and has become one of our top favorite go to restaurants in Cabo. My husband and I always came here for breakfast. We discovered that They no longer serve breakfast so we tried dinner and were blown away! It is true Italian, home made everything. Presentation is beautiful and the cuisine is fantastic. Alex made sure we were taken care of giving great recommendations. He was the perfect waiter at a perfect restaurant. I just had the best evening at beautiful Sunset Point. It has the most breathtaking view in Cabo to watch the sun go down, an amazing staff, and delicious food. My server was Angel and he was fantastic. He was so attentive and cheerful. After dinner, I had the opportunity to look at the moon, Jupiter, and Saturn thru their telescope which is manned by Luis. He shared some very interesting facts about the cosmos and was super pleasant to chat with. I also got the chance to see another of my favorite staff members-Valerio-on the way out. Truly a great experience start to finish. I will definitely be back.
