This is a well-established pizzeria, so our expectations were low. Were we surprised! Three of us ordered 2 pizzas, the other a salad. It was all good, and we were discerning about pizza. The smoked salmon was lovely, the Margharita great. The service was good even though on a cold night the place was full. The beer was good too as was the wine. We'll definitely want to go here again.

I love this place! Viva Sue is a family owned and operated pizza shop. There are a few tables to eat in and a limited number of parking spots in the small strip mall. If my office was still nearby, I'd be ordering more often. But since we've moved, I go there periodically whenever I'm in the neighbourhood. They are a short walk from Burnaby Village Museum, in the heart of Burnaby.Order ahead of time if you want to take out. They do offer delivery. And they are extremely busy with business orders during the daytime on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

Authentic Neapolitan Pizzeria in the heart of East Van... bringing you la Vera pizza Napoletana straight from our wood fire oven!
We, a group of 8, went to this restaurant for dinner. We had a reservation for 7:30 but did not get seated till about just before 8. That is fine. We understand you were busy. We were asked by one young lady if we want to sit together, we have to wait for one other table to vacate before we can do so. But, if we didn't mind separating into 2 tables, then we can sit down right away. We were fine with that. So, we were told to sit at the two tables at the front. We all sat down. Then another young lady, a Hispanic looking, came and asked us if we minded to move to the back corner. So, we got up, but decided we did not like that table. Then another young lady asked if we mind one corner table at the front and one table in the back corner. We decided we just want to go back to the 2 front tables that were originally shown to us. During all this chaos, the short Asian girl said "Can you people just decide where you want to sit, your are holding up the people waiting outside!". She said it 3 times. Wow, This was very rude. We had already sat down at the tables shown to us. It was the staff that wanted to move us around. I did not see this young lady go to tables that were finished and say this to them to get them out. After all this, the young Asian lady and the Hispanic looking lady kept giving us the dirty look. Very rude. I also saw them saying not so nice things with their lips quietly. Our adult children have been there and recommended this place over the other pizza restaurants. So, we brought guests from out of town. They could not believe how rude the staff were. There are many other places to go. If they think they can just give customers a hard time, it won't take long to lose them. Our server was great, but these two girls mentioned were not nice at all. Customers should be treated like customers, not like crap. How can we enjoy our food after being insulted like that.

The place was good. My boyfriend's pizza looked amazing. I had the gluten free crust and it was a bit cardboardy - but the toppings were good. At least they had the gluten free option.

This is our go-to dinner place. Delicious food, great atmosphere and the staff are warm and friendly. The new beet share plate, the grilled Caesar salad and the pizzas (all of them!) are our favourites. We love the burgers too. They always seem to have a surprise dessert - well with saving some room for. Thanks for the great review! Glad to hear you enjoy you coming here as much as we enjoy having you here :)

Simple and fresh is really what Italian home cooking is all about. At Trattoria the menu reads like a summer in Italy, with classic ingredients, masterfully combined, and served without a lot of fuss and bother. This is what Italian food should be.
First time here and had brunch and our experienced was very good. The place was nice very and close to Metrotown mall and Patterson SkyTrain. The staff especially our server Frankie is friendly and accomodating. The Trattoria Breakfast I ordered is very good from presentation to taste. I love everything on my plate. Will definitely go back here with other friends for their dinner menu. Highly recommended to try.
