After all the rave reviews, i was expecting a wonderful dining experience.Sadly i was left very disappointed indeed. The food was mediocre, to say the least. The ambience was no where near relaxed. The staff, who i have to say were very pleasant were falling over each other trying to rush to tables.I was very close to having a tray of drinks shower down on me.The starter was undercooked and not seasoned correctly. The main course was ok, but the dessert a disaster...and served with bent tea spoons. Not a dessert spoon in sight!.

Great fresh food and always friendly service. Always greated with Geovani's warm hearted smile and always makes a fuss of the kids and makes them feel welcome. The early tea time special is great. The food is always fresh and full of flavour and brought to the table in reasonable time.A real favourite

A friendly welcome awaits you from the attentive staff who explain the menu and specials board in great detail. All four of our dishes were served together with no delays and were piping hot. The quality and taste of all our food the other evening was simply delightful. All four of our group were impressed by the 5 star standards in all departments 100% Recommended.

The Amalfi Lounge, like any good restaurant, has a story- a tale of love, international relationships and a passion of Italian cuisine. The story started with our grandfather, a native of Southern Italy and resident in a small town on the Amalfi Coast. A p
Had a lovely evening here with the family, very busy restaurant although this didnt affect the service we received. Come hear regularly and it never disappoints. Very reasonably priced. Family ordered meals which varied right across the menu choices and all were fantastic. Good value on cocktail menu and the tapas is fab! Also, don't forget to let them kbow about a special occasion as they like to make a fuss. Had great lunches here too.

It is 5 years since I wrote a review about this restaurant soon after it opened in the countryside location on the Longsight Road Clayton le Dale near Blackburn . And it is even better than ever . We had a delicious menu. We started with a generous portion of Calamari Fritti . My wife then had an Entrecote al Pepe - the steak was exceptionally good - one of the best she had ever eaten cooked exactly as requested - and the pepper sauce and dauphinoise potatoes were very tasty. I had a dish of at least 15 giant prawns in a superb creamy sauce - Gamberoni Thermidor with boiled rice and selection of veg carrots and broccoli. But the whole Menu is very interesting with a wide selection of Italian and many other dishes. The Drinks menu is good and reasonably priced . Our whole Bill came to less than £60 and we were pleased to add a generous tip because the food was so good and the Staff had been extremely efficient and friendly . This is a large restaurant - well appointed with good car parking. We will be going again..
