Youghal (/ˈjɔːl/ YAWL; Irish: Eochaill, meaning "yew wood") is a seaside resort town in County Cork, Ireland. Sitting on the estuary of the River Blackwater, in the past it was militarily and economically important. Being built on the edge of a steep riverbank, the town has a distinctive long and narrow layout. As of the 2016 census the population was 7,963.

In operation since 2004 South Coast Charter Angling offer charter boat hire for sea angling and sight seeing trips. We operate from Youghal in Co. Cork, all long the Waterford coast to Hook Head, Co. Wexford. Aditionally we offer whale and dolphin watching trips off the South Coast of Ireland. Our twin engine catamaran has the convenience of inside seating with tea / coffee making facilities. We also have a toilet on board. Safety is of paramount importance.
