Very good quality trail ride. Lisa put a lot of effort into choosing the horses she brought, and matching the horses to the riders, which made for a fantastic ride. She was very knowlegable about the local area, and was a great coach for how to ride. Very flexible, too. I have some experience riding and she coached me through some advanced riding without blinking. Be sure to arrive ready to go. We met for our ride in the backcountry behind Milagro Winery, so bathroom facilities were limited to "au natural". Wear closed-toe shoes, boots if you have them, but a good, stout sneaker will work, too. Long trousers are useful and I generally wear long sleeves outdoors, too, which keep the sun off. A good hat is useful, but be sure it'll stay on in a breeze, or have a keeper so you won't lose it.

Mt. Woodson has recently undergone from winter overseeding and course maintenance. Golf event with great rate. Bring your "target" golf game, accuracy vs. distance is an advantage. Beautiful condition, especially tees and greens. Parking was at a premium, several members of our group were waiting for open spaces. No issues with pace of play.
