Diving centre and diving school operating in the territory since 1985, it is situated in the heart of the Marine Park, Tavolara and Punta Coda Cavallo. Tavolara Diving with his school organise experience programs for childrens, recreational and technical diving courses for all levels up to instructor, and like diving centre diving tours and snorkeling. There is the opportunity to dive with nitrox, trimix, double tanks and rebreather too. Tavolara diving has special agreement with hotels, apartments and restaurants and that permit us to organise an all inclusive diving holiday for individual, families and groups. My name is Paolo and in 2013 I moved with my partner Roberta to Sardinia, Porto San Paolo. For years we have been organizing boat days in the marine park of Tavolara with food and wine tours of Sardinian cuisine throughout the day. We will visit the most beautiful beaches and coves of the north - east coast, from Maddalena to Orosei.

After searching through so many beaches of Sardinia that is not complete chaos in the month of August, we decided to give this beach a try and were amazingly pleased. Despite going on a busy Saturday in August, this beach has plenty of parking and is extremely long, which means you won’t get the chaos you would at smaller very popular beaches. The sand is enjoyable, but the best part is the extremely soft super clean water. The first 15 feet are less promising, but once you swim past the white buoys it’s like the Caribbean. We opted for two chairs with an umbrella for €30; don’t bother paying an extra €10 for the first two rows as they are about 8 feet away from the third and fourth rows. There is a restaurant and bar in the centre with good and affordable drinks, but once again the stupid policy of needing a reservation even applies to have lunch at a dodgy beach bar in the middle of nowhere!! Lol. I swear I will never understand such a policy except only in Italy of course where they’d rather have a half empty restaurant and serve less people. I’m surprised I wasn’t asked for my reservation when I had to go pee.
