Top 7 Outdoor Activities in Harlem, New York (NY)

January 10, 2022 Jana Sager

Conquering New York in one visit is impossible. Instead, hit the must-sees – the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, the Metropolitan Museum of Art – and then explore off the beaten path with visits to The Cloisters or one of the city’s libraries. Indulge in the bohemian shops of the West Village or the fine dining of the Upper West Side. The bustling marketplace inside of Grand Central Station gives you a literal taste of the best the city has to offer.

Larry's Freewheeling

I live in the area and have been to Larry's at least half a dozen times. They have a great selection of inventory, and even better, Larry or the staff will guide you to what you need (or don't need). My wife has also shopped here and had a really good experience. From kid's helmets, to racks, baskets, fenders, and general adjustments, they have always done a speedy and thorough job on our bikes. They are next door to a great coffee shop called Cafe Amrita, too. It is right at the 110th St B/C subway stop too.
