"The smoke that thunders" is a local name for Africa's most famous waterfall thundering over a 100m-high cliff.
We went on a Shearwater guided tour. Excellent service received throughout our three day stay in Victoria falls from Shearwater Tours. The view of the falls on this tour is amazing, the guide was extremely knowledgeable, walked at a pace suitable to all members of the group. Easy walk, suitable for all ages, good level path, remember to take a raincoat during the rainy season. One of our most memorable trips

Entrance to the park very steep. We still remember driving through the park on a very hot day. Saw some game-no rhino.though. Entrance fee to climb the kopje to Rhode ‘s grave rather steep. Ah, well , World’s View worth it. It’s a magical place up there. Ignore the monuments, lie on your back, gaze at the cloudless cobalt sky and listen to the song of the wind as it caresses the balancing rocks. Very peaceful. Watch the sun go down .

Beautiful park & so incredibly wild & vast. Comfortable tented camp at Chipinda Pools & lots of elephants and hippos and other game. Heard the lion’s roar in the middle of the night but didn’t manage to see any, although according to others in the camp site they had been through the camp the day. Chilojo Cliffs a must see. So incredibly majestic. Loved it. Will definitely be back.

My road trip from Mutare to Chimanimani was awesome. All roads destroyed by the Cyclone Idai were repaired. It took us 2hrs 30mins to get to Chimanimani We stayed at Chimanimani hotel for 2nights.The following morning we went for hiking, late I must say.We started hike at around 11:30am and it took me 3hours to get to the Mountain Hut. • The hike is a bit challenging but manageable. The landscape is outstanding. I highly recommend you book a guide with ZimParks in advance and put up at the Base camp if you want to get to Mt Binga. You can also put up at the Mountain Hut and proceed to Mt Binga the following morning. Whether you want a days hike or multiday, go as a group, its more fun and interesting, unfortunately my friend couldnt join me for the hike but i got a good guide from ZimParks. • When weather is clear, take as many beautiful shots as you can cz weather is quiet dramatic, can change anytime, become misty and you wont be able to capture the lovely scenes. Avoid travelling during rainy season, road from the Village to the mtn is slippery and the bridge they made at Haroni river can be tricky to cross. The trip is for the adventurous however i loved it and am planning to go back this year.

It's never a bad time in the bush! But Hwange is special - love it every time! Even though the road between main camp and Ngweshla is well traveled, it's gorgeous and there's always something new around every corner.

Umfurudzi Park is just 100km from Harare. This National Park has amazing landscapes and stunning waterways and offers day trippers and campers a wealth of outdoor activities - fishing, hiking, game-drives, mountain biking and Picnic spots with braai areas. Game includes Elephant, Giraffe, Buffalo and Hippo. There are also beautiful chalets and permanent tents for a luxury camping experience.
