The bohemian allure and fairytale features of Prague make it a perfect destination for beach-weary vacationers who want to immerse themselves in culture. You could devote an entire day to exploring Prazsky hrad (Prague Castle), then refueling over a hearty dinner at a classic Czech tavern. Spend some time wandering the Old Town Square before heading over to gape at The Old Town Hall and Astronomical Clock. Prague’s best bars are found in cellars, where historic pubs set the scene for a night of traditional tippling.

Nestled behind the Museum at Kampa Island the three crawling babies are thought provoking art pieces from controversial Czech artist David Cerny. The barcodes instead of faces was intended to mean that the world is now dominated by consumerism, and people born in today's world are just seen as numbers. Thankfully, mass tourism has not destroyed this delightful monument, unlike the unfortunate John Lennon wall.

Visited on Thursday 12th October. We were on a lunch cruise on the Vltava River and noticed these penguins as were cruising along. We were so close you could nearly touch, interesting art work along the rivers edge.
