Azul Tequila opened in a location where previous restaurants had failed and had been closed for several years. They did a nice job of remodeling with very comfortable chairs at the tables. Extensive drink menu. Miranda was our waitress and she was attentive and pleasant. She made a recommendation which I took. The meal was excellent, and enough that I couldnât finish it all. All three of us liked our meals and resolved to return soon. We watched a lady roll a cart around and make fresh guacamole tableside. Iâm definitely trying that next time!

Well we stopped there while out Christmas Shopping. Big mistake... As soon as we graced the door things started going wrong. Waited forever for a hostess to seat us. Finally someone came from the back and asked if we wanted to be seated. We threw her a curve ball by asking for a booth. There were many empty but none clean. After another wait we had a booth. We sat there a while and someone presumably a manager(she was dressed differently) came by and got us some drinks. But, no straws or anything to use. Well after a bit longer we got tired of watching the ice melt in our drinks we got up and left. While waiting I did use the restroom which was disgusting..... Needless to say this one is off our list and probably should be off yours...We're really sorry to hear about your recent visit here. Thatâs not the experience we strive to provide to our guests and weâll share this feedback with our team so that we can improve. Please give us a call at 1-800-983-4637 so we can make it up to you. Thanks!

New to me restaurant but I will return. The owners are experiencing growing pains but the food is very good and at a very reasonable price. Decor is lacking but they seem eager to please. I have eaten there three times and found dinner menu varied and everything I have had has been good. Have I stressed good value?

I didn't know about the Ranchero Cafe until some friends invited me there for breakfast. It was the best breakfast I've had in a very long time. The omelet was very good and the fried potatoes with onions and green peppers was delicious. The Cafe con Leche was perfect. I look forward to returning and trying some of their specialties. It is a very small cafe, no frills, but good food. The prices are very affordable.

We have been coming here for years. Food is good, staff friendly, atmosphere acceptable. They did change a while back and added a share charge, which is something we do at most restaurants. Dont like that, and on this visit noted price increase. With snow bird season on us I expect this from the chains but not in these small places that locals support all year round. It will reduce the frequency that we come back for next 4 months

Wide Selection of liquor at our bar, Dining room area, patio area, a long dock on lake Jackson.
Ate here two times so far. 1st time I got enchiladas and second time Burrito. Itâs times food was fair, with no complaints. Iâve had better authentic Mexican food but Iâve also had worse! Definitely a step above Chillis restaurant. Service was good. Inside is more of an authentic Mexican restaurant. The second time I ate here I ate outside which is screened in and has a great view of the lake, dock, and an outside bar! I will be going back here more!
