I travel a lot and eat at Mexican restaurants a lot. Continually look for a green sauce to compare with Casa Jaramillo. Still have not found anything close to it! Highly recommended!

Tacos El Zarape

Fantastic service, authentic tacos and serving late. I got the barbacoa, chicharonn and carnitas. All very scrumptious. Barbacoa was perfectly cooked meat topped with fresh cilantro and onions wrapped in fluffy corn tortillas. Chicharron was soft and crunchy with a tomato base, again wrapped in those wonderful tortillas. The carnitas was smoky and smooth with a bit of crispy meat. Top them with red or green salsa (or both) for a great late night meal. So good I had to go back for a breakfast burrito the next morning, huevas de mexicana. And a jamica juice.

This was a shot in the dark for us. we were headed to the Oregon coast & were hit by the munchies in Ontario. we cruised through the town... it did not take long. Los Potrillos caught our eye as there were not many choices that appealed. We were lucky. our server was great and had fun patter. I selected huevos machaca which he rated as the best ever. Not sure about that but it was very good. the same was true for my wife's reyeno.

El Erradero

First the address for this restaurant is two years out of date. They moved to a bigger place, but still on the same street. The address is 1688 SW 4th Ave. Now for the review: my daughter, Cheryl and I put flowers on my mother and step-father's graves today (Memorial Day) and decided to stop for lunch before heading home. We both love Mexican cuisine and this place came up as one of the top places to eat. We both had a seafood dish and were well pleased. My shrimp with mushroom was so good and the flour tortillas were soft, easy to fold, and just plain good. The main dish was accompanied with refried beans and rice. Oh, the salsa was so good. Hot, but not too hot and very flavorful. The decor was the usual Mexican Americana. Very bright colors. Our waitress was super, helpful, fast, and friendly.Neither of our partners like Mexican food and they weren't with us, so we indulged and it was worth it. We will probably be back.

This is the proverbial hole-in-the-wall Mexican food restaurant. Nothing special from the outside but absolutely delicious food cooked inside. We have eaten here many times and have always left happy and satisfied. The burritos are killer as well as virtually everything else on the menu. Can't lose with this place, it's a win-win!

Fiesta Guadalajara

Reviewed By handymanron

It wasn't until we arrived that we remembered having been here about two years ago, but couldn't remember what we had ordered or how various aspects of the dinner had gone. It didn't take long before we did, though. The word 'Guadalajara' should have brought back the memory of my last chile relleno, since Guadalajara, a state in Mexico, prepares chile rellenos with a different type of chile than is used in several other states, in particular Michoacan. Here, the chile is thin & flat and wrapped in an egg, without batter, which almost seems to have been cooked in a way similar to an omelet, rather than dipped in an egg batter as is done in Michoacano. The chips & salsa were unremarkable, although the salsa was very chunky. The 'spanish' rice was bland. Both the warm beans served with the chips & salsa and the refried beans served with the meal were rather good. My wife's enchilada suiza was quite delicious with the inclusion of diced bell pepper making it even more flavorful. When, as the waitress brought the check, I mentioned to her the bland chile rellenos, she merely offered me another. When I replied that I was already too full to eat another, her retort was that I could have it as a late night snack or for tomorrow's lunch. Now, why would I want one more (even if it was free) of something which I was somewhat dissatisfied with in the first place? The place made such an impression on us that it is highly unlikely we'll ever forget it, which will help us avoid it in the future.
