As Taco Bell restaurants go, this location has always been on the low end of the spectrum. The service is usually slow and the restaurant is never, ever clean. Recently the restaurant was closed for a couple of months for renovation. I eagerly awaited the re-opening because I thought that, along with the improved facility, an improvement in customer service and cleanliness would result.Sadly, this is not the case. While the restaurant has been updated and looks much more contemporary, the same problems still exist. The service times are unbelievably slow, which is odd because this place always appears to be overstaffed. Really overstaffed. As in People Standing Around Doing Nothing While Other People Do The Work overstaffed. They literally seem to be tripping over each other, yet the orders take an inordinate amount of time to be delivered. On the plus side, Iâve never had a problem with an order, so I guess taking all that time to ensure accuracy makes it worth the wait.When it comes to cleanliness, this restaurantâs standards are non-existent. In every one of my visits to this restaurant, on various days and times of day, the dining room has been dirty. The drink station is always a mess with different colored puddles of soft drink everywhere. The floors are littered with straw and food wrappers, bits of food, and could use a mop more than once a day. The condiment stand is usually the cleanest part of the store. On nearly every visit Iâve had to clean my own table, and the trash bins always need attention.I was hoping that the renovation would improve the dining experience at this Taco Bell. Unfortunately, all it did was put a fresh coat of paint on the same old problems.

Chipotle's enjoys a popularity that I find rather puzzling. There are other Mexican restuarants in this area that offer better quality food at similar prices, yet Chipotle's is always busy. Friends who frequent the place rave about their burritos. I think Qdoba has better quality and more flavorful meat, especially the chicken.

You know what to expect, reasonable food and drinks, a toss up on service depending on the cureent staff, so this review is about a current food item. The Chicken crispers and waffles. Astonishingly good. Waffles were crispy outside, nice inside, crispers flavorful as usual. Overall a great addition to the menu.

I have been a fan of La Bamba since the first one opened over 20 years ago in champaign. Authentic Mexican food, made by, and owned by Mexicans. Big monster super burritos, and delicious taco's are a great filler after a hard night of charging. The bbq chicken super is what I get every single time and it tastes great.

I wanted something different grilled chicken salad sounded good.dry and did not want to drown it in ranch dressing.The seafood dinner my friend said was very good.fast friendly service.

El Porton is probably one of the few restaurants in town that serves authentic Mexican food. It has the best refried beans in town! Very popular for the lunch crowd, close to Wesleyan University. We have always enjoyed good, fresh food here.

I love places like this that keep it simple and flavor their food perfectly. Tasty food doesnt need to be what I like to call Foo-Foo.. They are just Fresh, Hot and Delicious every time. The salsa's they give to top the burritos with is also awesome. I judge each restaurant by a number of different factors, but this one is simple.. Easy, delicious food, that I will eat over and over again.. 100% recommend..
