We made plans to meet a friend at Rosalita's during early Happy Hour, which ends at 7. Their parking lot and adjacent spaces were full. My wife went in and learned they had room for us, while I found a vacated spot. This place is so big they can seat more than their lot fits easily.Liz did a decent job of serving us at a high table in the spacious bar area near a door to the beautiful patio that was in continuous use. The discounted margaritas flowed and the food came quickly with a team of support helping Liz. Nice touch was a Manager checking up with us to see if we needed anything. Nice place. We got the last parking spot on their lot, the restaurant was jammed we got one of the two open booths.Service was supreme, fast accurate and piping hot.I love the Texas fahita's.The chips tasted significantly diferent (for the worse) but the meal overall was very good.

I love Mi Lupita's. I have never had one bad thing to eat there. My favorites are the chicken chimichangas and the mole poblano. The wait is usually not long even with a big crowd. The prices are reasonable. Sometimes we eat here every week. It is like going home to your mom's for a good meal. The chips are not my favorite thing but I always manage to ask for another basketful. They are better with chorizo and white melted cheese. Their guacamole is outstanding and it is always fun. We know a lot of the locals that go there and I can say that the food is good! It is not perfect furnishings and decorations. It is a great place to get good, clean, Mexican food. I would say the BEST IN ST. LOUIS.

The food continues to be decent here--pretty good but of course not nearly up to the level of a "real" Mexican restaurant. Speed though is what you do expect here and what I did not get last time I visited. Very recently, I tried eating here during the lunch rush hour and it took over 20 minutes in the drive through line, which to my mind puts this place outside the universe of "fast" food. Quality of the food was what I said earlier, pretty good, just what you would expect from any other Taco Bell outlet but falling short of a really good Mexican restaurant. Service was very friendly, but that doesn't make up for the fact that it simply took too long. If it's going to take this long, you could go to a real place like Mi Lupita's instead which would have better food and you won't have lost any time. Places like this need to be fast to justify going here over a sit down place.

Shrimp tacos were very good. Fish tacos were very good. Margaritas were very very good. We sat on the patio on an awesome evening with our friends. It was an awesome experience! I would rate this as one of the best El Maguey restaurants.

A grocery and a restaurant in one. Small...plain, but food is delicious. Chicken tacos were a bit dry. Shrimp looked great. The ham sandwich is huge and two could easily share. Service is friendly.
