Went here with my wife late night. Went through the drive thru. The worker must've had a hard time hearing what we wanted with all of the "huh?" And "what's? " we got. After we ordered an item he'd be like "is that it?!". No acknowledgement of a hello or thank you. He looked very tired and stressed. This place needs to hire more people and or a better worker for overnights. Apple Valley and burnsville taco bells are way better!

Black Diamond is a full service Restaurant & Bar. Our scratch kitchen serves Mexican American cuisine year around located at the Buck Hill Ski & Snowboard Area. Kid friendly we are open for Lunch and Dinner. Weather permitted join us on our huge deck over
We really enjoy Black Diamond. The guacamole is excellent, the Friday taco bar is good and there are several other "hits" on the menu. The manager Kelvin is always friendly and attentive. In the Spring/Summer/Fall, the kids can go tubing on the Neveplast and stay in your sight while in the restaurant. It gets a little busy during ski season and parking can be tough on ski days, but it is worth it and provides a unique restaurant experience.

My friend and I decided to have a girls' Happy Hour at El Azteca. We were promptly greeted when we entered the establishment. The booth was very comfortable, however the tables make the seating a little narrow. We asked about happy hour and I settled on a traditional margarita. I'm not a tequila fan, but the margarita was flawless. I didn't even taste the alcohol and it was blended so nicely that it was an easy drink. I ordered an enchilada plate with one cheese, one chicken and one beef with three different sauces. It was so tasteful and each enchilada was defined. The plate, although containing three different flavors, were designed very clean to eat one at a time or mix together. My friend is a vegetarian, and was able to enjoy a decent selection from a vegetarian-friendly menu.

I immediately noticed the Minnesota Grown sign in the window. Thumbs up for trying to use locally sourced food.I had a buffalo chicken crunchy taco, I thought it had good flavor. I also had a veggie fresco soft taco. My spice loving husband said it had some heat. So, it wasn't just my Scandinavian palate picking up the spice. My husband had a soft ol reliable, pretty basic with chicken, sour cream, lettuce and tomato. He also had a soft shell black and blue taco, he liked it but felt it probably didn't need the bacon on top. (Don't get me wrong, he loves bacon.)He sampled each of the taco sauces. He said the hot was pretty hot!My husband liked the dry rub wings. He can feel the lingering heat in his mouth, according to him that is what he wants. Pretty decent Minnesota street-like tacos.
