I have been to a lot of fast food restaurants and this has to be the worst. Have been there 2 times, everything can have an off day. The service was bad both times. I actually thought I was doing something wrong just asking for food.

This is our go-to restaurant when we are looking for authentic Mexican food. Everyone speaks some English, though I usually use Spanish to ask specific questions about the food preparation since I'm gluten free, and they have no trouble accommodating that. The ceviche tostada is one of my favorite foods on the whole planet. They do a nice job with drinks, too, with aguas frescas of different flavors daily, and nice margaritas. The people are friendly, there's Mexican TV playing, and a different special every day.
I have some friends from the state of Puebla, Mexico who eagerly introduced me to a very hearty sandwich From their home called a cemita. The white stringy stuff is cheese. Though the cheese typically used is extremely difficult to find so they use a similar cheese, it is still very good! You have choices of meat for the sandwich - carnitas, pierna enchilada (my preference), chicken milanesa, & I think I'm forgetting one or two other options. You also can choose to add peppers - regular jalapenos, pickled jalapenos, chipotle - if you like. Typically, the sandwich comes with an herb called papalo. It is very strong & distinct in flavor. It too is difficult to come by outside of Puebla but when available, I tend to go light on it. If you're unfamiliar with it it's available, I'd suggest asking for it on the side so you can try/add to your liking. I can usually only eat half of one. I'll take the other half home & have it for lunch during the workweek. Additionally, they have menudo - which is something I'm not a fan of but I'm told by people who like it that it's very good!My other favorite thing to get is their shrimp tacos. They are very tasty with tender shrimp, chipotle aioli, & a mango salsa. If you want to try something a little more traditional to Mexico - particularly the state of Puebla - definitely come here! Ask about the cemitas! They'll happily answer any questions you may have!
You cannot even tell this is a restaurant as the signage in the shopping mall reflect their beginnings with homemade ice cream. And it is not much to see inside, BUT the food is traditional, authentic Mexican and you cannot find a better taco in town. I tried three different kinds and a homemade tamale and it was delicious and plenty of food. This is an obscure location and small place but the food is worth checking out.
We were excited to try this new restaurant in our neighborhood area, but were turned off the the incredibly loud atmosphere. Also, the menu appeared to be quite limited. We love quesadillas, but those were only on the children's menu. We chose to leave without ordering (it was too rainy to eat on the outdoor patio) and went to Panera across the parking lot.

The cost for a jarritos pineapple soda, a flavored margarita, and grilled chicken smothered in Mexican rice and white cheese sauce was $18. The cheese sauce has to be enjoyed on everything you eat! It is the best queso EVER! I have yet to find a place across the country that can beat or duplicate it!
