While traveling with my wife to meet longtime friends in Switzerland we stopped along the way in the town of Weinfelden. We asked a local for a place to dine and they enthusiastically recommend Giusiâs Bistro. We drove by and immediately liked the way that it looked. Upon entering the restaurant we felt very comfortable and were greeted right away by friendly staff. Of course only speaking English it was no problem, they sat us at the best table and treated us like long time guest. The atmosphere and décor are so charming and inviting, we felt so comfortable right from the start. My wife liked the dishes and pottery.We asked what was recommended and asked if the chef would just make what he wanted for us, did mention we wanted pasta. We started with some crostini, meat and local cheese. With a good drink we were happy. The chef sent out two different fresh pasta dishes, we couldnât decide which was better so we kept trading our plates back and forth.The bistro is run by the most lovey husband and wife team, we knew we made the right choice. The restaurant had a fun vibe with many what appeared to be locals coming in. We struck up several conversation with other guest and staff which made for a very convivial experience. Everyone seem to treat us like royalty. To top things off, the chef sent out a complimentary dessert for us to taste.Needless to say we left warm and happy. If you find yourself in the Canton of Thurgua, make the effort to stop by. We wholeheartedly recommend and our only regret is the place is not near our home. Super delicious food, very nice decorated plates and great customer service! We were impressed to find a restaurant on gourmet level for those prices! We would come back for sure! Thank you very much for the great customer experience. La Casa del Gusto belongs to the best restaurants we have been. The ordered food was fresh and the taste extraordinary. Also great choise for vegetarian like me. :-)

The Food here is just fantastic!! Tried many pasta dishes, all are so tasty and made with fresh high quality products. Pizzas are good too, but the pasta dishes are simply amazing.

If you're looking for excellent, fresh and home made Italian dishes, you must try this. Beside the varying menu every day you have the additional choice of surprising well composed starters and main courses. You won't miss anything from inventive furnishing, descent wines, native staff, precious sweets and children friendly entertainment corner. Prices are quiet high tough but it's worth it for sure.

The concept of the focacceria is simply but briliant. There is something vor every occation. Means: - a famous focaccia to go or eat in house /filled by your own style and taste with special things.- antipasti- Pasta- Salat- Tartar- soups- desserts- or just a coffee or home-made ice-tea- delicious wine/alcoholAll is available to go(which is a little cheaper) The service is very friendly.I would recommend it totally!

Eaten here on a number of occasions with friends and family and have never been disappointed. Service is a real plus point and complements the high quality of the food delivered on the plate be it a starter, pasta, pizza, meat/fish main or dessert. Never once had the feeling of being hurried along. Location by the small lake at the foot of the high walled old town of Wil is very attractive. Recommended without hesitation on the strength of numerous visits.
