The food is typical Lebanese Mediterranean, which is the most refined of all Mediterranean cuisines. This is typical of food found from the Levang region of southern Turkey, northwestern Iran, northern Syria, etc.We ordered mostly appetizers as we wanted a light early dinner rather than the full contingent of dishes that normally we enjoy at Middle a Eastern restaurants. In general, the food was excellent. The fatoush salad was very good, one of the best Iâve had. The fried kibbee balls were delicious but tiny, the cheese bouregs were also very good but very small and with little cheese. The mouhammara was not very good nor made with the typical ground pomegranate and was instead, very dry and made with peppers, which Iâd never seen before. The meat sambosek was also very tasty but tiny. All in all, the food was good enough to want to come back, albeit pricey for the portion sizes.

Tried Soom Soom Fresh by chance, we needed a late lunch and just found this spot amongst a crowd of places in this area. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. As this was our first time there they explained the menu and what the different options are. I ordered a falafel plate they gave me the sides and offered to split the sides so I could taste more of the options for my next visit. The others got soup and other combinations of falafel and hummus. The pita is freshly made, all of the food was very fresh and flavorful. An incredibly delicious meal for something quick.
Their sausage and peppers and melted cheese on a great crtunchy roll was delicious at this popular deli/restaurant that sells hot and cold sandwiches, salads, soups, and a few hot entrees such as lasagna. Choose you drink from a refrigerated case. It's in a little strip mall just off the 101 freeway near Hampshire. There are some tables inside and a few on the sidewalk. Although not fancy it was pleasant enough. They also sell meats and cheeses and some desserts. Friendly service.

When you crave fresh with the mediteranean healthy ingredients Nico serves it up at Daphne's. I usually have the greek salad with chicken which fits right in with our warm California days. When the temperature turns brisk a bowl of greek lemon soup warms the tummy and the soul.

Been coming here for many years. Their middle eastern food is always terrific. The lamb kebab is the best and tenderest lamb I've ever had. Shawarmas are really outstanding as well. Good food, great people, sketchy service but no big deal.

This is a great little place ...understated and I like it that way. Patio dinning or inside choices. Daily specials and several greek inspired dishes always good fair prices too with out being pretentious. A great place for a couples dinner
