Based on poor excuses (they say it is to maintain the family enviorment, but they do sell alcoholic drinks) and against the law (the beach is a public area) they do not allow you to bring your own beer (yes, that is permitted and common ni Brazil to bring your beer to places like this and buy the food) to the area surrounding they restaurant. And if you want to drink a beer they sell...be prepared to wait until one hour to receive it. The service is terrible since waiters seems to be on a bad mood!

The place is simple, there isnt a sea view, but...the food is GREaT! The service is fantastic done by Vivi. The chef Tonhao comes to table to see if alls good. I discovered he has done many gourmet courses over the world. We each had different dishes and each one was delicious. Different desserts, all just as good. A very pleasant surprise. Thanks KathrynC1514! Vivi and Chef Tonhão send you regards!

I've been to Acqua with my parents to celebrate my father's birthday.Although the climate wasn't a wonderful one (it was cloudy and with some rain) the sea view is breathtaking!!! There are tales outside on the deck. We ordered couvert - the caramelizada onion with cream cheese pâté was incredible!!!! As main course we ordered fish covered with nuts and served with vatapá - delicious! - shrimps with palm heart risotto - outstandingly delicious!!Don't rush... take your time and enjoy it at most.... Prices are a little salty, but for a great occasion it's worthwhile!!!

RESTAURANTE CHAPEU DE SOL O Restaurante Chapeu do Sol e considerado o restaurante mais tradicional do litoral norte. O nome do restaurante e inspirado na grande arvore de Chapeu do Sol que cobre e acolhe todo o restaurante. O ambiente aconchegante, charmo
Together with its sister-restaurant, Badaue, Chapeu do Sol is the best in Juquehy. It now offers Sushi as well. Have robustas (griled vegetables on skewers) as well, or griled fish, moqueca, and ceviche. Note that their new version of Ceviche is made fresh at the sushi bar. It is a smaller portion than their original version, and not as marinated. Lucky for me, the owner decided to offer the old version as well which comes from the kitchen, which is a meal in itself. Pizzas are wonderful here as well, and they offer a full bar. When sitting at Chapeu do Sol you can order from the Badaue menu, but not vice-versa.

I've been to Ogan several times, and it never disappoints. On my last visit my wife had shrimp and I had the fish special. Both dish were well presented and delicious. The service was attentive without being overbearing. Desserts are simple, mostly fruit based. This is one of my favorite places on the Litoral Norte.
