Hello everyone my name is Chef Angelo. I have been cooking professionally for 6 years but I have loved to cook ever since I was a young boy back in my home country. I bring to you now over 15 years of knowledge of the love I have for authentic greek cuisi
I dined with my husband one busy day and the restaurant was packed. Most of the customers are in the retirement age, and fascinating to observe these people. The restaurant is small but homey and super clean (including their counter and kitchen). We were greeted with a server but never led us to our table. We were asked though for how many persons but left us to choose which table to use. We were given the menu but did not explain their specials (it's our first time to dine here). They gave a complimentary appetizer, and I had chicken and my husband fish. It wasn't as tasty as I was expecting (I had a kebab a day before from another restaurant and they were better than I had here). The chicken was chewy and the vegetable was burned. The fish was bland, nothing greeky. We had tasted better food than these folks.Maybe we ordered the wrong food, I don't know. We won't go back.

We stopped by for lunch. They had several delicious lunch specials at around $11.00 each. Service was polite and efficient. Food was absolutely delicious and very fresh. The portions were very decent. The rice pudding dessert was awesome. We would visit again and would recommend this place

Istanblue is located in the former Efe's Restaurant having been taken over by new owners in November 2015. The restaurant is located in a small shopping center with plenty of parking. It is very attractive, has live entertainment on weekends, serves Sunday brunch and from our experience last night serves very good food. We tried an eggplant appetizer which was delicious as was the Lebni & Sheppard's salad. Entrees were Adana Kebab, Chicken kebab, gyro meat, rice & Turkish bread. Desert was baklava & everything was perfect. This is a BYO restaurant.

This is the story of the Panteleakis family and their dedication to what they know best - what they share most - what they love. Ask anyone who has been here. They will tell you about the home made bread, rolled and baked by the hands of Peter, the owner.
We recently discovered Oceanos. The food is fabulous. Roasted Beets with Almond Garlic sauce is amazing. The Tuna Tartar and Salmon were spectacular too. However the service was slow and inattentive. Our server added extra drinks to our bill and refused to remove them. Be forewarned check your bill carefully. Be prepared to be overwhelmed by the chef and underwhelmed by the service.

The chicken shish and shepherd salad as well as the fresh pitas were awesome. The dip that came with chicken was very tasty. Friends had the lamb shish and Adana and salmon and I believe bronzini which all enjoyed. Service was very slow, but I believe the waitress said one of the waiters had called in sick. I would pass on the dessert.

The bread was fresh, and warm when served. Tabbouleh: Parsley was not chopped finely and stems were not removed; only a hint of tomoto and mint. Coban Salata (Sheperd Salad): Prepared in advance, and did not have a fresh, lively flavor. The Traditional Dish - Hunkar Begendi was not prepared as described in menu "baked chunks of lamb" rather bite size pieces; eggplant puree was flavorful. The restaurant was clean, good service, but was very warm and uncomfortable.
