The Gallery cafe is the internal restaurant of the rather fabulous Hyatt Place hotel in Hoofddorp (in my opinion the Place to be in Hoofddorp, the best of the airport oriented hotels). The Hyatt has free parking and free breakfast, but the food at the Gallery Cafe is far from free, it is actually quite expensive ... similar to the food at the Marriott Courtyard actually. But the quality is outstanding. Just visited this restaurant recently with a very large group. The upside is that the wait staff worked very hard to accommodate our large group of 20+. The food was pretty good. However, it was very hot inside the restaurant which detracted from the experience and it was pretty noisy and crowded. I will say they did allow us to have a free dessert to make up for the heat and the wait for drinks and food which was very much appreciated. Not a place to go for a quiet, intimate meal.

I had dinner there. The food was good and the service was great - they don't have many English menus, but they were very accommodating and apologetic, even though the delay was less than 5 minutes. It's worth a drive.

Italian food prepared by an Italian chef! Great pastas, delicious pastas....I rarely go there because of my lowcarb diet but have been there many times before and have sent many friends because I am convinced that this place was the best Italian restaurant 5 years ago and still is now.Expect a busy place, always reserve!

Our first time outside in the wee garden at the back.Very tasty pizza's, best in Hoofddorp IMHO.White wine (Pinot Grigio) bit on the expensive side for its quality.Good service.Certainly be back again.

We went there a bit later on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was almost completely full we were lucky our table just freed up. Busy restaurant s are always a good sign aren't they? In this case it was. Service was a bit slow but looking at the amount of guests acceptable. The food was great definitely worth it. Also the Lebanese beer was good for non western beer.
