Things to do in Cazalla de la Sierra

A great place for a winter grilled meat. All typical and somehow, too much to eat! Rates are very reasonable.
This is absolutely the best place in Cazalla de la Sierra. Without doubts a hidden gem of the Sevillan region, and without exaggeration of AndalucÃa in general!!!Home-made dishes, delicious liquors and above all a spectacular service. The owner, Doña Patricia, explain us everything about the menu that she created and cooked herself. All the recipes are original, and she went that extra mile to explain us everything to us about the town and region. The establishment is stylish and impeccably immaculate. It was simply a joy to be spend few hours here, and itâs really made our trip unforgettable. If youâre near the plce by any chance just hoose this fantastic and amazing place. It is a must do!Muchas gracis Doña Patricia!

Food always good having eaten in the restaurant on several occasions. Good regional seasonal food with traditional dishes and some international dishes. Can be busy at weekends but lends to a good atmosphere. Also friendly service in the bar which also does good tapas.

A hotel with a bar that serves a good variety of tapas. The reataurant is pretty and comfortable and guests are always made welcome in this family run hotel. Good service and recommendations from the staff. Do not pass on the house pate always rich and smooth. Jamon is always moist and sourced locally. Often suckling pig is available which is well cooked and simple but delicious. Good selection of wines. Lovely gardens behind the hotel provide tranquility in this very Andulician town in the Sierra Norte. The house Sangria is great but do not expect to do much in the afternoon if you have it at lunchtime.

Very good, but quite niche, menu - all dishes very tasty. The outside setting at the small square is lovely. However, slow service and seemingly not too interested in accommodating the customers; tried our best in Spanish but not forthcoming in trying to understand. Simple things like forgetting bread 3 times, not mentioning specials (on the board inside) didn't help. Excellent food + poor service = average rating.
