Took us some time to go to this wonder place inPiazza Brembana, BG.Decor is all to our liking.Front of the house knew exactly what went into every plate on the menu. The back office, which churns out the artistry on every plate shows passion and dedication from the antipasti straight to the desserts. Will be back for sure.Keep your smiles rolling.Ray & GeorgetteMalta

The rediscovery and love for tradition â and especially for the territory of the Orobie Prealps â also passes through good cooking. The Orobie Alps Resort, in addition to its extraordinary location in the greenery and its charming spaces, makes of the res
Dinner is very tasty, you can order different pasta meals with home-made pasta. We had dinner at the hotel several times and ate pasta with different cheeses, porcinos, different meat like deer and beef, polenta (which is a speciality of the region, there are different types). They also serve big platters (which looked nice, we saw it from other guests, but did not get the chance to taste it, also they serve "branzi" which is a local cheese (and also the name of a village nearby). There is also a salad buffet every evening.Dear Guest,First of all I would like to thank you for having chosen "Al Vecchio Larice" restaurant and for posting your SUPER feedback!I am really happy to read that you appreciated so much all our service and our regional cusine! This is a real award for myself and the entire staff and our Chef Luciano. Feel free to contact me for any need you may have in the future and I will be really and sincerely glad to assist you. Thanks for being our FAN!Paolo Barbanti

A nice trattoria, in a green valley. A few kilometers off Bergamo, we found this delightful family restaurant, where the ingredients are mostly local and prepared with love and care. The owner is very talkative and he will tell you the story of his 100-years old dinasty of restaurant owners. In the summer, there is a beautiful terrace, with plenty of fowers. They also specialize in barbeques.

It's a nice and good restaurant. The lunch is easy and testy. The risotto we have last week where so good. Nice and beautiful vegetables. I really like it, the food is not to much it's perfect.

The restaurant "La Taverna di Arlecchino" is situated in Valle Brembana in the little village of Oneta, a little medieval borough rich of historical-cultural testimonies. The structure is obtained by an old 1400 house, very close to the famous Arlecchino
Could this little restaurant nestled in the small medieval town of Oneta, outside San Giovanni Bianco, be one of the best kept secrets of the Bergamo region? Chef Franco takes pride in the 'prodotti tipico' of the Taleggio and Val Brembana, starting with antipasti that showcases a selection of the world renowned Taleggio cheese and locally cured meats, home grown figs and fresh vegetables from the valley. The cheesy frittata is a worthy centrepiece to this great starter. Following on was possibly the best risotto I have ever eaten. The secret seemed to be the fresh shaved truffle that complimented the cheesy, al dente dish without overpowering the other elements, as so often happens in my experience. The slow cooked beef to follow was so tender, served with fleshy slices of mushroom and a wonderful homemade pomodoro and parsley sauce. The entire meal was complimented by local wines of the highest standard. The two small rooms of Taverna di Arlecchino were a buzz with local atmosphere, and we appreciated Franco's occasional appearance at our table to ensure his Australian guests were smiling, and smiling we were. He even managed to convince me to try dessert despite my very satisfied stomach and I am glad he did. The panna cotta was presented to Michelin star standard, wedding white, perfectly light and accompanied by marinated blueberries that were a stunningly sweet conclusion. Do not expect a wide choice of a la carte options but expect to be satisfied by the seasonal choices presented. We paid 40 euros each for a four course meal and wine - great value for the quality and experience. As Australians, my wife and I agree that if Franco opened Taverna di Arlecchino in Sydney or Melbourne, the waiting list would be 4 weeks but then the truffle would not be so locally fresh.Â
