Our friend knew my husband loves authentic Mexican food so with careful consideration chose Taco Rosa. The chile relleno casero, and carne asada taco and chicken enchilada combo were fantastic. My tacos de fillete, skirt steak with sauteed mushrooms, onions with melted brie cheese, was unique and one of the best tacos I have ever eaten. My husband couldn't resist a to go order of chicken enchilada in mole to carry on the plane. The margaritas were perfect. Guillermo was full of personality, fun and made our dining experience even more special. If we lived in the area, we would be here several times a month....at least!

I made the reservation with high expectations based on the others' reviews of the restaurant, along with the reputation of the chef. My expectations were quickly dashed when the food came. The skirt steak was inedible - so badly charred that all we could taste was the char. It was like eating a tough, expensive, loaf of ash. In surprising contrast, the seafood paella, which should have had a nice crusting, had none. Although the rice was perfectly cooked, the seafood was all undercooked, as were the bell peppers. The pulpo and potatoes were warm and cold respectively. The bacon-wrapped dates and potato and ground beef balls were the best dishes. The waitress never once asked how the food was and she was always rushing away. Given the reviews, I can only assume the chef was off for the night and nobody was supervising the kitchen. I won't be back, but I left with the feeling that this was just a bad night for kitchen, but more disappointingly, nobody there seemed to care.

The place is pretty run down. The carpet is old and it looks old. The bathroom was dirty. Our waiter wasn't very friendly. It was hard to get a bottle of water. The food was below average. It could have better presentation and the flavor wasn't good either.Honestly we could not get out of there fast enough. Will not go back there.

We arrived, without a reservation early on a weekend night and, after a short wait, were seated for dinner.Holy yum yums. We started with the Shrimp Ceviche (Mexican shrimp, sashimi ahi; topped withhabanero and yellow tomato salsa; with mariquitas chips) Sweet love of gat! That was awesome. Then we split the Churrasco Steak. Oh my LOVE! EL CHURRASCO8 oz. skirt steak with chimichurri, street style corn, white rice, plantain, sofrito black beans, grilled red onion. LOVE LOVEFlavor. Great cocktails. Great service. Lovely!

My girlfriend brought me here as a surprise birthday present with some of my friends! I have to say it's the most amazing place I've ever had brunch at. The atmosphere was just awesome! The staff was incredible. The ambience and atmosphere made you feel like you were in Cuba. And let's not forget the food! Food was just top notch. Be sure to try their cafe con leche! We couldn't stop ordering them. We also had the mimosas! Over all the best place to have brunch! Cant wait to come back over and over!

Went here with work associates. Sat at the bar. Bartender was excellent. Very polite and attentive. Excellent chips and salsa. Chicken and shrimp fajitas were good. It was taco Tuesday so the other two folks had that. Basically itâs set up like a buffet. Thereâs a lady that makes whatever taco you select. They liked it. They also had what equates to Mexican corn on the cob. They loved that. Definitely try this place.
