Things to do in Suwanee
Probably, I think that this is the best place to enjoy Korean style chicken and totally different with Bojangles, KFC. Coke, salad, and pickled radishes would be a good combination with fried chicken. We enjoyed a half and half chicken(spicy and crispy).

I chose this place to try the bingsu dessert (This korean snack is composed of ice shavings and various ingredients such as sweetened condensed milk, fruit syrups, various fruits such as strawberries, kiwifruit, and bananas, small pieces of tteok (rice cake), chewy jelly bits, and cereal flakes. It is often topped with ice cream or frozen yogurt.) Once we got there, I decided to order the waffle dessert after reading so many reviews and I love the mixture of hot and cold. Once it arrived to our table, it looked gorgeous and tasty. Upon trying it, my view changed. The ice cream was hard. You don't think of chewing ice cream or it taking that long to suck to softness while attempting to eat it with a waffle. Besides that everything else is personal preference, but to me kiwi did not belong in this dish. The decor on the other hand was amazing. We felt like we were in a restaurant in Korea. I plan to go back and try the bingsu and/or the food. It is a cute and intimate spot and great for a date. They are open pretty late and at the end of a small plaza.

I was surprised this restaurant wasn't listed in Trip Advisor! This is one of the most authentic Korean restaurants I've ever eaten at! It was close to our room, in a shopping center with predominantly Korean businesses, in fact there were three restaurants in the center. The menu was a little daunting for me at first, but Vern knew what everything was and that was a relief. It seemed to be mostly Hot Pots and Soups, which was fine with us! I got a shot of the next table's meal when it arrived, a two person Hot Pot, looked great! Vern chose the Korean Blood Sausage Soup and I selected the Marinated Beef Stew in earthenware pot. I did try some of the blood sausage and it was very good! I admit I had been hesitant. My stew was totally yummy. The beef was sliced paper thin and was thoroughly marinated and the stock from that mixed with the vegetables and mushrooms really created a special flavor and texture. The vegies weren't overcooked at all. I might add this is a very busy place for dine in and take out and the entire time we were there we were the only two Caucasians in the place. The prices are very fair also. If you want the real deal, check out this place!
Come enjoy our simple menu filled with 18 lunch or 25 dinner all you can eat BBQ items. All ingredients are the best available with no cost cutting or flavor sacrificed.
We eat out most meals, and many times it is Korean cuisine. This place is excellent both in food taste/quality and service. We had Spicy Squid and Shrimp on the char grill. The side dishes complimented the entrees perfectly and the service was outstanding. We have eaten in may Korean BBQ restaurants, this will definitely be our new favorite. And thanks,Justin, for the great service and conversation.

You cook your own choice of meats on a table top charcoal grill. Very cool part of the experience and gives you some control over the finished product. Good soups are also part of the meal and salad as well.
Short version: I highly recommend the sunflower fried dumplings and Japchae.Long version:What a delightful hidden gem of a wonderful restaurant. I thought for sure the 5-star rating was a fluke, but I assure you that it's not! This place deserves more than 5 stars! The owner is a bubbly, energetic, enthusiastic, optimistic, lovely lady. You can really tell that she loves her job and her customers. You can't help but walk out feeling a bit happier and optimistic after interacting with her.Now for the food--you never knew healthy could taste this good! It's seriously amazing. Being somewhat new to Korean food, I didn't know what to get, except I knew that I wanted to try the dumplings. The owner helped me decide the best options based on my preferences and I got my order to go so that I could take it back to my hotel and gorge. I got the sunflower fried dumplings (SO GOOD), Japchae, and a pina colada bubble smoothie. The dumplings were just perfection. I will order these every time because I can't imagine coming here and passing these up. They are served in a circle that looks like a sunflower, thus the name. The Japchae had amazing marinated bulgogi meat, with fresh veg and the glass noodles were so addictive. The spicy sauce on the side was a creamy spicy compliment that just worked wonderfully drizzled over the dish (and I'm not a fan of spicy food). I literally could not stop eating this dish. I over-ate but couldn't help myself because it was so good! Their portions are huge too. If I lived here, I could have had 3 decent sized portions given what I ordered. The bubble smoothie was a treat, but I'm not sure that bubble smoothie is my thing--the tapioca balls are just a little odd for me with the chewy texture, but that's totally me, not this smoothie. I always told myself that the next time I could try bubble tea/smoothie, I'd give it a shot and now I have. I cook at home 95% of the time because it's extremely difficult to eat out and eat healthy. If I lived near Choi's, you'd see me there at least once a week, and that is saying a lot for me because I just don't eat out that often unless I have to travel. Now when I am visiting this area on business, I am going to make it a priority to stop by and dine as often as I can. The people who live close to this restaurant are lucky!

Korean Fusion Quality Table-Top Korean BBQ Skewer & Skillet Concept at the table Asian Fusion Risotto Wet Aged Steaks of all kinds Smoked and Premium Quality Korean BBQ varieties available
We had lunch on a quiet Monday, and service was quick and friendly. The âall you can eatâ choice at lunch ($20 for skewers of meats or $25 for whole pieces) gave an opportunity to try more items. Some of the meats were pretty good, with the main exceptions of (1) being given chicken chunks which were still raw and cold in the middle [NOT good eats!] and (2) the âsausageâ which was really just a hotdog. The various kimchis and sauces were good. Unfortunately, the overall look, feel, and dining experience here, while adequate, does not match up with the better Korean barbecue places nearby.
