We ordered two dishes to carry out and were overall satisfied with our choices. However, dishes were overpriced and quality was uneven. Portabella Mushroom sandwich was good but not enough mushrooms to fill the oversized ciabatta bun. Salad had great deep fried goat cheese but disappointing dressing and inexcusable bread. At these prices, should be a bit better.

You will enjoy a lovely environment, but extremely loud (because of all the hard surfaces) so conversation isn't always easy. Ordered the filet app - it comes with onion strings and fries. Fries were perfect... onion strings were wet/soggy with oil. Filet was ok. THIS dish would have been top marks without the fries, better onion strings served atop steamed veggies. Best of the night was the complimentary ciabatta bread/olive oil and roasted garlic. Hunan chicken was very flavorful but the pasta was too limp. Bruscetta app was just ok. Bread was damp... bruschetta falls off (creates a mess)... would have been better with a light crust of cheese to keep it together. We would be tempted to come back just for the cucumber mojito! Very tasty. Service was EXCEPTIONAL.

This seems to be our go-to place for pizza. While we always order a large, light sauce pizza, we sometimes decide that double crust is needed. The double crust is always cooked perfect with a great crunch. The toppings are always plentiful while the pizza is piping hot (even after driving it 15 minutes home-placed in a grocery heat/cool bag). The staff is always consistent in how they treat their customers, and the restaurant is always clean on the inside. I can appreciate they keep the kitchen out of view from their customers as it creates a nice quiet atmosphere. I look forward to next weeks dinner from Salvos, as I know I will walk away happy.

Has the best pizza Iâve had in the area. Price is a little above average but the quality is way better than any of the chain stores and better than any of the other local stores. Have only had carry out so I cannot give a review of the service for the dining area.

Doc's has proudly been serving the Lake Country area for 25+ years. We offer the freshest pizza available. Our dough is made fresh daily and we load your pizza with toppings. Our wait times may get lengthy (we're working as fast as possible), but we are v
There are times when one doesn't want to review a restaurant for fear that people will read one's review and flock to the place making it harder to find a seat. Thus is the story of Doc's. A very small place...a few tables...a bar...and the best darn pizza around. We were tipped off by a friend to try Doc's, saying he would pay for the trip if we didn't enjoy the food. A pretty safe tip. Our sausage , mushroom, and black olive 14" pizza was more than enough for two people (we took a third home). So delicious, it makes my mouth water just writing this review. And the beer was cold...served in a frosted glass. This is our new go to place for pizza. A little out of the way, but worth the trip. The unfortunate thing for us, is we just gave up our boat on Pewaukee Lake, otherwise their dock would have been very convenient for us. Well, driving there in the convertible will have to do.This is one of my top 3 favorite reviews of all time. Thank you very much. Next time you come in, please ask if Josh is around. Thanks again!!

Our first visit on a Friday around 12:30 pm found an empty dining room but an enthusiastic wait staff and kitchen crew. Our drink and lunch order was taken concurrently, selecting a 14" Napoletana style thin crust, "extra crispy" with cheese, sausage, fresh mushrooms and onions. Much to our delight, our server brought a warm French bread loaf with seasoned butter and two house salads. We expected only the 14" pizza, and our expectations were already exceeded. The salads were mixed lettuces with fresh mushrooms, onions and black olives with a moderate coating of a balsamic or Italian dressing. In spite of wanting to save our appetites for the pizza, we devoured the two salads. We did resist the appealing bread loaf and seasoned butter. Our pizza came out in under 15 minutes and was a sight to behold! The surface was so deeply buried in fresh mushrooms, onions and sausage that you could barely see any of the molten cheese below. When the square cut pieces were pulled from the pie the mozzarella cheese "stringers" affirmed the presence of plenty of cheese, that of Brownsville, WI purveyor of fine Italian cheeses, Grande Cheese Co. (a poster in the dining room gave the source away). The extremely thin and crisp crust supported the generous toppings, which owed to the cheese and the fine cut to the veggies, all held firm to the slice with no "fall off". The flavor of the toppings, sauce, cheese and crust all came through in brilliant fashion. My spouse and I are hard pressed to recall instances where we were unable to finish a three topping thin crust 14" pizza, and we had to add Tony Maronni's to the short list. The volume of sausage, fresh mushrooms and onions were easily three times that of the majority of pizzeria pizzas and that volume left us to take about 1/3rd of the sumptuous pizza and all of the Italian bread loaf home. For an added bonus, were greeted by the pizzaiolo who made our pizza. He spoke to the abundance of toppings and admitted puzzlement over how most other pizzas feature scant portions of toppings. At $17.99, our loaded 3 topping thin crust was a bargain. We can't wait to return and bring our pizza loving son and daughter-in-law for the eye popping and mouth satisfying extravaganza of pizza at Tony Maronni's in Sussex.Thank you very much for your 5âï¸ review. I remember you both. Thank you so much for one of the Best reviews Tony Maronniâs has ever received. It is our pleasure to serve our guests and hope to meet your son and daughter - in - law next time you come by
