Flippin pizza is good. Although I haven't tried every pizza place in San Marcos, I've tried quite a few and believe Flippin is the best in town. Their slightly crispy crust on pizza is good. My favorite is the artichoke pizza. Meat lovers is good too. Their salads make a great side to any pizza. They do have a small bar with a variety of beer choices.

Here for dinner after a long day. Filled up on pasta and pizza. Linguini was very good, the pizza not so much. And the service was average. Quaint place in a strip mall. Probably wouldn't eat here again. Considering the quality, quantity, service and price...not so much.

We stumbled upon this little gem last year. My kids have asked to go back several times. It is worth the hour drive for us! The pizza slices are truly GIANT, and taste great. Watching them toss the the crust up in the air and make these pizzas is so much fun. The place is fairly small, but many people get theirs to go. We sat outside the last time we were there. Steps from the beach. Very inexpensive. Definitely worth the drive!

The five stars is for the quality of the pizza, great service, clean conditions and fun traditional atmosphere. Your pizza is in good hands here as it is made or supervised by Sicilian Americans. Not a tourist destination, but a family destination. Best pizza in San Marcos and in the top 5 for north county.Parking is reasonable, very safe area, prices are reasonable and worth what you get, a place a family can come as well as a couple. Great for kids.Seating is limited.Looks like they can hold 24 people comfortably! Did not hear any music. A little Italian would be nice.

We love Pizza Nova. We have been to all three locations with the Shelter Island one being the best view and the San Marcos being the best staff! One of the best kept secrets is their lunch special. It's EVERYDAY and lasts until 4:00! Grab a pizza and salad or pasta and salad lunch special on your way home and reheat when it's dinner time! We've been on the weekend and sat outside on the patio enjoying their own brewed IPA and a great Bloody Mary with the complimentary garlic rolls. Try the Barbque Chicken Pizza!

My younger son had been asking to go to a pasta place for a bit so we dropped in here during our Labor Day weekend. It's across the street from our hotel, making it very convenient.The service is very good - professional, friendly, and helpful. The facility is beautiful. And the food standard "Old Spaghetti Factory". That's not bad or anything but it is a chain restaurant so the quality, quantity, and selection are tightly controlled. You know what you're going to get be it here, at the San Marcos location, Fullerton CA, or Concord CA. Good food, nice place, solid service.In general, this is a safe choice.
