Things to do in Puerto Penasco
We have always loved Coffee Point since they opened, the coffee is delicious and coming from Seattle; we love our good lattaes. We decided to try the restaurant, LaBelles, which is upstairs above the coffee shop; you walk upstairs through a stairway through a mirror! The ambience of the cute and playful decor is based off of the movie; Beauty and the Beast. The service is impeccable; our waiter Eric was most hospitable and attentive to our every need. The table was set with fresh flowers and the bakery served amazing fresh baked pastries and cakes! We ordered the Eggs Benedict which was amazing and all for $4.00! I had the delicious oatmeal which was served with fresh strawberries and bananas, cream and brown sugar, only $2.00! For desert we had a Nutella crepe wchich was simply the best; reminicant of the ones i had in Paris! We hope this restaurant becomes well known by everyone visiting Puerto Penasco.. we think their service and food is far superior than what Kaufee Haus can offer!

New owner and menu. He is very attentive and has a daily special. My wife and I were very pleased at the quality of food, speed of service and price. Breakfast and lunch menus.

Very small place but with extra seating poolside at Las Palmas Resort. Chef Jose Juan has owned and operated the restaurant for three years now and is expanding the restaurant to where the grocery store used to be. Very cutely decorated like an Italian or French bistro. Sergio waited on us and he is excellent. Luis Carlos was our chef, and he has learned well from Chef Jose Juan as everything is delicious. We have had their hamburger which is big and juicy. Their beef tacos cooked poolside are flavorful and inexpensive. The chipotle shrimp pasta - would definitely order again. However our "go to" dish is the fried shrimp. It is succulent and tender and flavorful. We have had it so many times that I cannot count . If you like spicy, ask for the chipotle mayo instead of the ranch. When you arrive, they serve gratis a wonderful bread with cream cheese, olives, tomatoes and spices. We love supporting small private businesses with great food.
We went here with friends while visiting Puerto Penasco, and we had a superb dinner sitting in front of the beach and beautiful blue water. I had the filet mignon with large grilled shrimp with a wonderful mushroom sauce and mashed potatoes, it was mouth watering delicious and the filet was cooked to perfection. Their wine selection was excellent as well. Service was impeccable and the music and ambiance of the restaurant was wonderful as well. We highly recommend this restaurant for a quality meal!

We were staying at the del sol but decided to breakfast here instead. We werenât disappointed! We ordered the breakfast burrito, smoothies and their Bloody Mary! Wow! Everything we ordered was just delicious! And their bloody Mary...impressed! The staff are lovely, friendly and efficient. We enjoyed it so much, we went for breakfast there for the 3 days! Highly recommend the trash can burrito to share as itâs huge! Pancakes, smoothies and their bloody Mary! Actually all their burritos are amazing!

Fresh and elegant. Inspired Italian course and seafood creations. Everything has been changed ... Menu + dinning room same atmosphere & prices. A must stop in Rocky Point
The staff at Mare Blu is outstanding! The woman at the reception desk was warm and welcoming. Our waiter Valentin was courteous and helpful. The food? Well perhaps our expectations were very high because of the good reviews. The grilled octopus appetizer was garlicky and tender. Lovely. The main entrees? Well they were good - fine but not the type of food that will knock your socks off.The chicken piccata was rather stringy and dry.The spaghetti carbonara lacked flavor. The sauce was watery. It unfortunately was not what I was hoping for. It's just okay. The setting is great. With some attention to the level of quality coming from the kitchen, it would be possible for this restaurant to really shine.Worth giving it a shot.

While on our fall family vacation in rocky point we decided to try Pane e Vino! To celebrate our anniversary we wanted a nice dinner and to try something new! Wow from the minute we walked in we were impressed! Having traveled to Italy we are very picky about our Italian food.. this is the best we have ever had in the states..rivaled many places in Italy as well. We had the anti pasta, my husband had the seafood pasta, our daughter had the spaghetti and I had the carbonara! Yummy! Dinno was the best! They surprised us with homemade tiramisu, my husband who doesnât eat sweet things loved it! We can wait to go back next time we are in town! We are still talking about the delicious meal! Dear Becky H,We are pleased to know that you had a wonderful dining experience. Your kind review will inspire us to continue making every experience here a memorable one for our patrons. Thanks for your valuable feedback and the entire team look forward to seeing you again in the future!
