In-house made pasta, with everything from the wheat to the die to the drying process signifying quality. Our bowls of pasta were totally full of flavours and absolutely yummy. Looking forward to our next exploration of the menu.Drinks are a little limited, with only a pilsner and IPA (plus apple cider) on tap. Request to mgt: please take the wine list off the wall and put it in the diner's hands, with a description of each wine and where it's from; we specifically didn't order wine because it was a pain to see and to try to figure out details.

Pizza was tasty made with local ingredients. Unique menu items that change weekly including veg and meat options. Pizza appears to be made ahead of time and is reheated in the oven before serving it up to you. Price is good for what you get.

Had all the makings of an authentic Parma - prosciutto, arugula, crust, Parmesan. But it was undercooked. Not raw dough, but not blistered and browned. Disappointing.

Outstanding in every way. Had the lemon creme sauce veal with vegetables and lemon potatoes. Exquisite. Presentation was flawless and food impeccable. Some of the best veal I have ever had. Serving could be a little bigger perhaps. Service was attentive, friendly and efficient. Add a couple of Peroni Lagers and you're in heaven! Sat on the patio so did not experience much of the interior. Looking forward to returning soon.

We have had the opportunity of trying several good restaurants during our short stay in Vancouver.Tonight my wife was craving Italian so I did the usual and searched Italian restaurants in Trip Advisor.The logical choice seemed to be La Cucina so off we went.Trip Advisor contributors were right again, we had a great meal and thoroughly enjoyed our time.We split a beef carpaccio and each had fettuccine as our main.The offerings were great, fresh ingredients helped to ensure a very tasty meal.The restaurant is neat and clean and the service staff was friendly and attentive.The only mistake we made was dinning on the patio which is severely effected by the near by road and the sound of traffic.

A normally very good menu and this looked to be no exception. The fungi soup was excellent but the pasta al pesto was poor with little flavour as though they forgot put in basil and garlic!! Very poor for a specialist Italian restaurant. The lasagna was quite good but not great, The wine a Santa Cristina pinot Grigio, excellent.

It's not summer without a fabulous dinner on the garden patio at Orto. Beautiful and serene, accompanied by delicious food and a lovely experience. We can't go here without having the appie of Bad Dog Bread with carmelized onion butter/olive oil/olive tapenade. Followed by any pasta on the menu, because they're all lovely. Great experience, again. Love it here.Thank you very much for your great review. We are happy you enjoyed your dinner with us!
