it doesn't worth the title "Italian" as pizza and pasta were really terrible. my wife had to vomit once back at the hotel (pizza) and myself suffered till morning (pasta).prices are very high when compared with what you get.it is the worse tourist trap just because of their location. better to avoid.

You'll need extra time to choose from the brilliant range of flavours on offer here. It was gusting wind on the day we went but the ice cream tempted us so much we just had to have one.Delicious

Best icecream in town
The portions (slightly bigger than a tea spoon) are so small that me and my wife didn't even try having one after they served our (very disappointed) kids. Even for a dutch icecream parlour this is rediculous. So no comments can be made about the taste...Thank you for your feetback .As our valued customer you deserve the best , not just in quality but also in quantity. So we will reconsider our spoon sizes to a larger one .Hope to welcome you again to try our improvement.Edwin Groenevel icecreammaker@ Gelateria Domini

We visited it with a small kid. The restaurant wasnât full. We had to wait a lot of time to get our pizzas. Sometime it seemed they weâre busy lighting the candles in the tables even if there were plates to take to the kitchen. The pizza was not good. My wife wanted a dessert but then again they somehow forgot us... we decided to left. A lot of things to improve or was it a bad day?

La Galleria is situated on the boulevard of Noordwijk the best Italian restaurant in the Netherlands. Come and enjoy our lovely pizza's/ pasta's or other Italian dishes made by our Italian cook. We would like to welcome you in our restaurant!
Our teen enjoyed it. Laid back enough not to feel stifling. Very friendly service (though I'd like to ask the waitresses to wear less perfume). Convenient location with nice view. The food was good, the portions generous and we didn't have to wait long for it. Everyone enjoyed their meals on both nights. I had asparagus risotto, which was tasty. The pizzas come in two sizes. Two of us shared a larger sized pizza and we had two pieces left over, so it could have been shared by three people who are not voracious eaters -- great way to save money. The wine and beer were good. So why not five stars? I found the wicker chairs uncomfortable. The temperature in the glassed-in outdoor seating area skyrocketed and the heating flames were not turned down. Phew! People smoked by us (so if that bothers you, get a table inside -- but then you don't get the nice view). Our waitresses wore too much perfume. But I have been called over sensitive, so if those things don't sound bad to you then go for it!

It was a bright sunny day in Noordwýk Holland. We were the first guests to arrive, the waitress was very professional. The bread served before the pizza (not usually done in Italy) was excellent. What surprised me was that the owner was strolling around the premises looking at us but not taking time to say hello, while we were waiting for our pizza. The pizza was nice but nothing to write home about, just a pizza outside Italy. In Holland the wood oven is not allowed while this gives the pizza the delicious Italian pizza taste. As we were in a hurry we could not have a real meal but we would certainly not return there.

Ristorante Pizzeria Karalis is renowned in Leiden and surroundings since 1977. Our menu represents classical Italian dishes, with a strong accent on the island of Sardinia, where we have our roots. Divided over 3 separate rooms we have space for over 200
On a recent visit to Leiden university, our large group went here for dinner after getting some recommendations. With there being so many of us, we didn't bother with starters. Most of us had pizza. I meant to order the ortolana but ended up ordering the one above as it's name ran over onto the next line. This was the rucola pomodoro & parmigiano. It was very nice anyway and gave my first time trying a pizza with 'non oven-baked' ingredients. One that didn't go down well in our group was the Papps e citti - ham, onions, asparagus, olives. It was dripping with oil. Far too greasy. We didn't get pudding as we blew the budget on cocktails - I recommend the 'Hugo!' Although some of the puddings we saw being taken to other tables did make us regret our decision!I'd recommend this place if you're looking for proper Italian food in Leiden - very authentic!
