Lewistown is a borough in and the county seat of Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is the principal city of the Lewistown, PA Micropolitan Statistical Area, which encompasses all of Mifflin County. It lies along the Juniata River, 61 miles (98 km) northwest of Harrisburg. The number of people living in the borough in 1900 was 4,451; in 1910, 8,166; in 1940, 13,017; and in 2000, 8,998. The population was 8,338 at the 2010 census. Of the four communities in the United States named "Lewistown", this borough is the largest.

on our way home from a long canadian vacay...stayed @ the greenwood house/hill store cottage and this was recommended...choices are limited in this small town but Richie's was a good choice!...four of us arrived @8pm and it was semi-busy...we each got something different to share..stuffed shells, italian sub, burger and anti-pasta salad...serving size was plentiful and food was delish...dining area is dated and busy with random décor but appeared clean...

We stayed at the adjoining motel and found this restaurant to be the best feature of the place. The service as prompt and cordial, although the food was nothing special. Dinners include a salad and the menu is fairly extensive. We thought the bar-b-que sauce was good, although the ribs were a bit tough. Other fare was about as expected - but they do offer something called Greek spaghetti. It got mixed reviews, from us -- but I'm all for anything that includes black olives. It was a bit bland, but spice was available. In fact, our server checked with us several times to provide anything extra we might want. I'd visit the restaurant again (but not the motel - unless it changes)

Stopped by for a quick lunch while on a 150 mile motorcycle ride through central PA and what a nice find. The sandwiches were delightful and the service was great! Would definitely top in again when in the area.

Start out with a good GF menu, including pizza, pasta, and dessert. Throw in a crisp, flavorful salad. Add great service by Tracy. Oh, they also have several selections from The Cheesecake Factory to choose from. I just wish we had OIPs in Tennessee!

We came for dinner on a Friday night and had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. Two of us had the pan seared paddock and one had the eggplant parmesan. Fish was tasty and just a medium portion. The eggplant was a large portion, cooked well but pretty saucy. The sauce was enough to eat with the pasta. Breadsticks were extra and very good. You can order sauce to dip the sticks in, although they don't need it. House wine was satisfactory. Service was friendly and efficient. We would definitely return.

Excellent Italian cuisine. Subs, sandwiches and just plain bread with dinner are out of this world with fresh baked chewy (in a GOOD way) bread. Large and varied menu. Excellent service. Clean and comfortable dining room. Prices were very reasonable. Take out area was hopping as well.
