Gusta Ltd is an authentic Italian delicatessen cafe and wine bar, in Royal Tunbridge Wells. The staff are passionate about selecting and importing only the finest regional artisan meats, cheeses, pasta, wines and coffee, most of which are exclusively sold
We popped in mid shopping for a bit of a re fuel and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the coffee and the lovely Citrus cake on offer and very authentic Italian Tapas Board .All reasonably priced. We shall return as refreshing to experience a nice independent cafe rather than a chain.Turn left out the back of Next and you are there in a few paces worth the small detour away from the food court in the shopping centre

The best tasting Italian weâve eaten at, bar none. Authentic Italian cuisine and a genuinely enthusiastic chef. We were looked after extremely well, our dishes explained and made just the way we liked them. Very accommodating to us and our children (11&9), they loved it. This experience earned our biggest tip ever. Grazie Mille

Authentic, family-run Italian Restaurant, serving traditional Southern Italian recipes and welcome. Using the freshest ingredients to create many dishes to keep following the Mediterranean Diet.
Il Vesuvius is one of my favourite places to eat. You are treated like a long lost friend when you arrive, the service is attentive and friendly and the food!! Try the Pollo alla crema di funghi - absolutely wonderful! The food is always exceptionally good and very reasonably priced. No better way to spend an evening with friends or family!

Please note that this year we are open on: â Christmas Eve â Christmas Day â Boxing Day â New Year's Eve â New Yearâs Day
Another example of falling for vastly overrating reviews, also on tripadvisor.Because of these reviews we had great expectations when dropping impromptu into this tiny place with tiny tables and bad air. This place is run by a husband and wife team. The husband, a heavy smoker, prepares formulaic pasta dishes, most of the swimming in a cherry tomato and garlic sauce. Our Spaghetti Carbonara were drowned in too much oil. The fish of the day clearly came from the freezer of was as tough as cardboard. What a waste of an evening! Learning from experience helps others. The bill was way to high for what we got. Be forewarned!

Tunbridge Wells has a number of restaurants, but we have often found it difficult to consistently get decent food at a reasonable price. Each time we've been to Don G, we've left with a feeling of satisfaction. The last time we visited, it was quiet, (thus echoing some of the other reviews here), but service, food and wine were all good. There were 4 of us, and all enjoyed our choices, which were selected across the menu range.

It's welcome to have an Italian Restaurant in Crowborough. We went in for breakfast to have a look around at the general experience offered. They're open all day and do takeaways. It's a smart but slightly simple layout and decor. At breakfast the tables for two were lined up in a row behind the door screen and next to the counter - not an attractive position if we were going for dinner. Depending on how busy they were in the evening maybe you'd get a table meant for four in a better position. I would expect the hard furnishing to result in a noisy ambience when busy, but maybe we'll see. We had read that there were a few teething problems with service and delivery following the recent opening and we had that same experience. It wasn't busy but it took a while to come and take our orders - in the end I gave the waitress a serious nod that we were ready. Then the breakfast took quite a while to be served. To be fair it looked freshly prepared but it wasn't a busy morning. The full english was good. Will I go again? I feel we should go for dinner but I'll wait a few weeks to give them time to improve their service and delivery and to see the reviews build up to being more positive. Let's hope it works out.
