This was a exceptional dinner. Service was professional, knowledgeable and not overly intrusive. Staff was there at all the right times. Food was 5 stars plus! The Pecorino soufflé antipasti hit all the right flavor notes. My companions octopus special was outstanding. We each had a pasta course; gnocchi with tomatoes and pesto and tagliatelle with braised wild boar. Both were expertly prepared and thoroughly enjoyed. The seed crusted Alaskan halibut was an unusual preparation. Loved everything on this plate including the delicious black lentils. Lamb was tasty and very satisfying. We shared a castelmagno cheesecake dessert with lavender honey. Unexpectedly light and luscious. The only suggestion I may offer is to serve wines at the proper temperature. My glass of Chardonnay was served way to cold which is odd for a restaurant of such expertise. Expensive but worth it. Highly recommended. We will be coming back in August.

Marco's Coal-Fired is proud to be the only pizzeria in the state of Colorado to receive the coveted VPN certification. This certification requires strict adherence to the culinary discipline of the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (VPN). Come taste ou
Good pizza, but service so-so. We ordered: Toscana and Sicilia to share. Good cocktails (we ordered one each - Club Marcos).... I would say well deserved after a long days hike in the mountains (to be clear, we went back to our hotel first before going to dinner, prim and proper). When we got to Marco's, half the place was empty (and it wasn't late at all) so we were pretty annoyed by the rushed service. We still had half the pizzas untouched (yet), and we were only here for less than 15 minutes before the waitress/server started coming by every couple of minutes. While we were clearly enjoying our meal within a short window of time (and we were having a conversation) with our drinks unfinished (still in the process as again we were barely into our slices) when the waitress came to us asking if we wanted a to-go box, and then while I was chewing on another slice asking if we wanted to see the dessert menu. That was perplexing. We didn't order anything else as the mood was turning at our table with the rushed service (and being asked if we're still 'working on it'). We got a to-go box for our pizzas and went elsewhere to enjoy our evening. We would've stayed longer than 40 minutes (maybe even spent more money and ordered something else), but is what it is (instead we found a fun speakeasy where we spent the evening).

The owner although not Italian (sheâs from Lousiana) travels very often to Italy and has picked up some very interesting dishes from many regions. The pizzas were perfect as were the Cesar salds, the tortelli and my tagliatelle aglio e olio.Very good, friendly service. Not cheap but worthwhile.

My partner and I were visiting Denver for a conference and stayed at a hotel near Northfield. Dined at Salati as it was close by and had an interesting menu. Was pleasantly surprised with the meal and service. I was as usual for me hesitant about eating out 'Italian' as I have been to Italy and have an Italian Grandmother, as my culinary reference. Nice wine by the glass selection, excellent prosciutto flatbread starter. Explained to the server we were in no hurry and never felt pressure of the 'table turnover'. Enjoyed wine, bread and oil dip, and starter with evening conversation. For mains my partner had the pasta Bologna with Italian wedding soup and side salad. Flavorful dish of pasta, meats, and cheese, very good effort. I had a Piadinas Basilicata with minestrone and salad just because I didn't know what it was and it looked interesting. Only can be described as 'Italian Quesadilla' and it was excellent. Very inventive and bursting with flavor. Quite a nice surprise menu item and not as 'heavy' as a pasta or pizza meal. All in all a nice dinner experience. Our server was pleasant and unhurried, knew the menu items, and very efficient. The dining room was open space and the atmosphere more casual than intimate fine dining but very comfortable none the less. Hats off to a fine twist on Italian cuisine at Salati. Unfortunately I do not live in Denver and will be searching menu's going forward to find another Piadinas to sample unless I return to this area. Good job and I have no hesitation recommending based on my experience.Thank you so much for taking the time to write this lovely review. We're honored that you chose Salati for your dining experience in Denver. Our Executive Chef's grandmother is Italian too, so you both have that wonderful frame of reference in common. Please do come back again next time you're in Denver!

Yummy pizza! We ordered for takeout and enjoyed this at our motel. We tried the chicken fresco and the deluxe, both as thin crust. Everyone enjoyed them. The prices seemed reasonable, also.

Wait staff was very friendly and efficient. We met here with a large group for lunch and were promptly seated. Drink orders were quick to come. After all decided what to order the waitress systematically worked around the table. Many of us ordered the soup and salad. Bread was hot out of the oven. Soup was tasty and the salad very fresh. This is a good place to come with a crowd. We don't normally eat at chain restaurants but try different cuisines local to the area.
