This restaurant is good for friends just stopping in as well as those celebrating special events. A friend and I were just looking for a good restaurant while in the area and found this one. However there were people there celebrating an Anniversary and others, a birthday. Both of us had veal dishes and while mine didn't have as much marsala as I am used to, the flavor was very good. My friend had the piccata and loved it. The place filled quickly as the evening wore on, but we were not hurried by staff. would definitely go back.

Despite making reservations 6 weeks in advance, we were seated in the doorway across from the bar. Everyone entering and leaving had to walk against us. When asked to change, we were told nothing was available, yet we saw people going in and out of other rooms and spaces. The atmosphere is that of an old traditional wood paneled bar/steak house. The neighbourhood is not great and lengthy construction on the road outside do not make it an easy find. There is valet parking. Some of our food was very good, some not so . We shared appetisers. The calamari was good, but not special. The frog legs were few in number and a bit tough. The small portions of the appetizers made it difficult to share. My friend had the Italian Feast (seafood over linguine) which she loved and took half of it home. Our husbands both ordered the veal parm which came pounded very thin and burned. They were not happy with their meal. I had the veal medallions special which I quite enjoyed. Lesson - stay away from the veal parm!. Our server was knowledgeable, trying very hard to be helpful. The place was very busy, however , and we did not see much of him. We forgot to use the gift card we received at Christmas, so will need to return. I am hoping for better experience.

We split the amazing lobster squid ink ravioli with tomato cream sauce as an appetizer among us four. Wow and incredible. Then we split the sacchetti purse filled appetizer portion pasta. Wow amazing. Then I had the best red snapper of my fish-eating life, the ladies split an awesome duck and the other hub had a fab pasta. Lastly our server was knowledgeable and did not rush us one bit. Hats off to an extremely special dining experience in Cleveland.

We had a fantastic lunch of ravioli, chicken marsala and melanzana parmigana with soup or salad. Every dish was sensational in flavour and presentation. Service was efficient and portions generous. The restaurant itself looks a little outdated but the cuisine is wonderful. Thoroughly recommended!

Excellent food and service. Hot bread and dipping olive oil with herbs to start. Glasses refilled quickly. Caesar and house salads fresh and generous. Husband had pasta with shrimp and scallops while I had eggplant parmigiana. Sauce tasty. Will definitely return.

Once again I returned to Aldo's. Once again I had wonderful, attentive service. food that was beautifully prepared and presented. The four of us had an Eggplant App, two different fish dishes, pasta, salad and Two Veal dishes. All were wonderful. The wine and drinks were great as was the selection and choices for dessert. A good time was had by all. Thanks.

Wife and I attended afternoon Cleveland Indians game and we stopped on way home. I had heard good things about Angelo's and pleasantly surprised how good it was. Wife has small dinner salad and we shared a small pizza.Ample toppings and the small was just enough for us. Wife mention it would be worth it to go again and totally agree.
