Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Bellingham. The Pacific Northwest scarcely gets more peaceful than unspoiled Bellingham, a bustling city nestled in the Bellingham Bay. Nature abounds in all directions surrounding this coastal paradise. The waters of the Pacific offer opportunities for whale watching, cruising to Friday Harbor or visiting the Canadian city of Victoria. To the east, Mt. Baker beckons skiers and snowboarders to its slopes. The city itself is alive with vibrant theater, historical museums, gourmet restaurants and fine arts.

After trying the other pizza places, this one is the best. Limited seating and they outside seating in the summer. We have tried 4 different pizzas and the were all very good.

We have not been to the Bellingham Olive Garden for a very long time. Was nice to visit again....as expected the food was excellent...lots of good choices....sadly my apricot chicken has never come back on the menu. Our server was ok...said she had been there for 4 yrs....felt very rushed to the point that - brought our bill without asking if we wanted dessert/coffee and we were barely finished our dinner. Also didnât ask if we were interested in the $5.00 take home offer. Restaurant wasnât busy/lined up - not sure why the rush.

Restaurant is located in the Fairhaven district/area. Phone is (360) 734-7677
It's disappointing when a pasta restaurant precooks its pasta in the morning, and warms it to serve. What this meant was the despite their efforts to make a second dish, it was way overcooked and inedible. I guess the morning chef ruined the batch - and since they don't cook pasta at night it meant there was no way to get anything other than overdone.Sad because it has decent service, and a wonderful decor, and the other food was good. And to be clear the restaurant did try to make it right and didn't charge for the dish.

Great Happy Hour menu. Pizza was amazing. Kids menu was sufficient. Service was pleasant. Ambience was comfortable. Overall a great experience.

In 1998, a great location and the desire to produce superb pizza led Dan and Ken Bothman to create La Fiamma Wood Fire Pizza. An immediate sensation, Dan and Ken's restaurant was showered with acclaim, winning the Best New Business and Bellingham's Best P
Readers of my reviews are well acquainted with my extensive Napoli pizza experiences, and this pizza does compare somewhat favorably with pizzas in Napoli, especially in the crust department. All of the taste and texture parameters are met, so that is an outstanding success. When it comes to the mozzarella its acceptable but for the money I would have wanted a lot more of it. Where this pizza falls down is in the tomato category. The sauce is overly pasty and the sliced supermarket tomato is just wrong on every level on a margherita. Who thought this was a good idea? Their moisture comes close to ruining the entire pizza. Huge mistake...Otherwise, the service is good, the tables are reasonably spaced, the chairs are aluminum but relatively comfortable, and there is free evening parking on the lot beside the building. So it all adds up to a very good, but unfortunately not excellent.

DâAnnaâs is definitely the best Italian in town and beyond. Whether you order Meat, Pasta, or any specialty item, all is prepared to perfection. I highly recommend the Gnocchi, which is served quite uniquely with pancetta, shiitake mushrooms, spring peas, tomatoes, spinach, and walnuts in a butter sage sauce. At first I thought that sauce seemed a bit much to pair with Gnocchi, but one bite and you realize how well every ingredient adds to make up a truly delectable meal. Also, you might want to start with the Bruschetta, which uses the freshest ingredients to produce an appetizer better than what youâll find at most other Italian joints. No matter what you order at DâAnnaâs you wonât be disappointed. Evening waits can be long especially on weekends, so plan ahead and arrive early.
