Things to do in Pemuteran
Warung Gayatri we serve for lunch & dinner ( International, Indonesian & Balinese ), Our Warung located in very quiet atmosphere with a garden view and natural panoramic of hill Beratan.
The food was awesome, my partner and I tried two balinese plates and they were really tasty and good portions, also fresh juices to choose. But the best part was the charm of the place, really quiet and just 10 minutes walking from the beach, and the couple there were really nice and helpful.

Waiter was not friendly, instead rather quiet and reserved, and seemed to lack confidence. We asked for our orders to be repeated as we were not confident they had been taken correctly, and this took some time. Drinks were a little slow to arrive.About an hour after arriving, finally a lone meal is brought out. A few minutes later, one more meal. Once the first diner was almost finished, only then the waiter brought out the sauce/dressing to go with it. Our guest comments that the meal was very bland. The third meal arrives, then the first two diners have already finished eating. A little time later, the fourth meal is served. The finished plates are cleared, and three in the party still have not received their meals! Luckily they didnât wait for all meals before starting to eat, or food would be stone cold!We waited longer... at no point were we told that there would be a long wait, or advised that the meals would not come together. The other diners in the restaurant before us had already left, so the kitchen should not be too busy. We asked about the remaining meals... âcomingâ...A table who arrived and ordered after us receive their food. Two more dishes are served, including mine. My vegetables are cold, and covered with too much pepper. But otherwise the meal is fine, just okay. The last diner waits another 5-10 minutes (more than 1.5 hours after ordering!) for her simple dish to be served. Also, I asked for my drink WITHOUT a straw, and it came with a plastic straw. Many hotel and restaurants in this area are concerned with preserving the environment & keeping plastic out of the ocean by either not serving straws, or using bamboo straws. Unfortunately this restaurant is not one of them.Overall, very slow service for below average food.

We stayed at Amertha Bali Villas which is situated bang opposite Warung Ganesh. The food here is just splendid. Their service is quite prompt. We loved their arrack cocktail. I would highly recommend their seafood platter. Their desserts are also to die for. They are reasonably priced as well.

The restaurant at Taman Selini Beach Bungalows
This restaurant is excellent, with quite the best Taramasalata I've tasted outside Greece or Cyprus, and some delightful Greek main courses too. However, the wine prices are over inflated and much more expensive than the same found elsewhere (eg one wine 35% more expensive than in a more up market restaurant in Candidasa). As a result, we stuck to beer - a pity. Don't let the wine prices put you off though, this is a fine restaurant with some quite excellent dishes to tempt your tastebuds, both Greek and Indonesian. And there are other choices for drinks which are more reasonably priced.

Badini restaurant, one of the most renowned of Pemuteran, offers a wide variety of food including balinese, indonesian and western dishes.
This is a small family run restaurant on the main road. It definitely has a much more varied menu than some of the restaurants in Pemuteran. We had fresh juice, shared spring rolls for an entree and a main each for under $10 auhi, thanks for your nice words! we are happy to know that you enjoyed our food. Chef Mangku (who is the owner too) just uses fresh high quality products and loves creating new recipes. All people working for Badini feel part of a big family and are proud to know that our clients value their job too! hope to see you soon!

Frangipani Bar & Restaurant is within walking distance of all the Pemuteran hotels and only a few minutes walk from the beach. Our bar and lounge, surrounded by lush gardens are situated on the ground floor; a perfect place to relax in comfortable lounges
This is a lovely restaurant. Very romantic. Unfortunately I was dining alone. Tasty fresh food, wine and attentive service. Yes more expensive than other places in Pemuteran but it serves wine whereas the cheaper warungs only serve beer. It is still reasonably priced and something a little bit special away from the traffic noise of the main road.

We serve eastern and western food with mixed taste of both
Do not be set back by the plain appearance of this small instalment. While the serving is ordinary and alcohol list is limited by the small and large "bitang", the food is delicious. The fish, prawns and chicken are cooked to perfection.Quite probably, this is the best eatery in Pemuteran
