This place is great for breakfast. They kindly made me a breakfast sandwich that was not on the menu. We ate at the bar and were always served by a sweet and welcoming woman.

Local fresh food prepared onsite daily. Good variety but at times a little bland as i ate here daily. Kick it up a notch for a bit more flavour, overall a very good consistent experience as i stayed at the hotel.

Decor and setting was great, the shrimp appetizer was really good but being a wine bar.... the disappointment should not be in the wineFirst serving of merlot was âcloudyâ the wine was spoiled. The server realized and removed it. The second serve was a cab which was served cold .... by the time it reached the correct temp ..... was not goodI recommend since sales are slow invest in a vacuum system to store wines properly and at the right temperature. Maybe thatâs why wines by the glass is very limited. The server was very pleasant and They have local teas and candles.Thank you for your visit CamWine, first let me apologize for the cloudy wine & temperature. Getting to "room temperature" in a hot Country can be challenging however we do store in Wine fridges and will definitely consider your suggestion. We are thrilled that you enjoyed our beautiful setting and our garlic Shrimp. We hope to see you again for you to enjoy your wine at the right temperature. Cheers

Hotel, Bar & Restaurant where you can relax, enjoy one of the best sunsets in the world, have an ice cold drink & listen to some great music 7 nights a week, all on the beach! (Monday, Thursday & Saturday are live reggae and we have a DJ the other 4 night
Not many places were open on Sunday night in the off season and our driver dropped us off at Bourbon Beach. There was a DJ playing, which we liked. The restaurant was dark and the lights were broken/inoperable, so a waiter put candles at our table. There were very few non alcoholic drink selections for tourists and nothing at all diet. Our food took more than one hour to be served, which is slow even in Jamaica. Our server was friendly and we did have a good time, but it might not suit families with children (ours are older and adults). It appears more for party folks.

The dinner experience at Xtabi was one of the best I have experienced in Negril! I had the grilled snapper and it was perfectly seasoned. The staff provided top notch service and we even ventured into the caves on the property. I would highly recommend having dinner and watching the sunset at Xtabi! Will definitely be coming back!

FOODIES- Rise Up -This Tour is for you! Zimbali's "Farm to Table" Cooking Show is more than just a Meal- it's an Experience! Only 20 minutes from Negril, this 5 Star Retreat + Organic Farm is one of the most unique places in Jamaica. Tour the Farm, then R
We are a family that loves to cook at home and that makes a point of taking a cooking class every time we travel. From a chef who travels to our home in Playa del Carmen to catching our own fish in the mangroves and cooking them over an open hearth in Belize, we are always looking for unique and authentic flavors and experiences, and Zimbali was the highlight of our trip! We travel to Negril with frequency, but this was the first time we took our teens. We stayed at a big all-inclusive (we've never stayed at one before) and they.... hated it. They found it impersonal and generic, and when we arrived at Zimbali for the cooking class, my 14-year-old son, upon surveying the grounds and kitchen said, "why didn't we stay here?" Then we took the farm tour and my daughter said, "this is much more what we were hoping to do in Jamaica. This feels REAL." This was all before we even entered the cooking studio for our midday meal. The meal itself? Lovely. We loved the idea of a chilled salad dressing, and we will try to recreate it at home. The jerk was perfectly spiced. The sides complemented the dishes. The plating was pretty. Everything was lovely. My only complaint, and this is a minor one, was that we arrived when they were getting ready to go on holiday for a week or so, in fact, they scheduled us in, and I could not help but feeling bad that we interrupted their plans. This was not reflective of the staff in any way. It was an internal idea of mine. As such, we had a private meal, the four of us. A few tips: 1. Yes the drive is bumpy. Many many country roads are much bumpier. Relax and enjoy the country view.2. When they say "walking shoes" believe them. It is a farm tour, so proper footwear is essential.3. We brought school supplies for the local children and they were appreciated. Just give to them when you arrive.Hello Lockie, Thank you so much for brining your lovely family to Zimbali and it was such a pleasure to have you :)We love people who a searching for a real experience, wanting to see the real culture and who grow their kids to want to see the 'Real Ting!'From our family to yours- we hope to see you again and please 'come back to Jamaica' :)Blessings- Mark, Alecia and our whole Staff/Family
